I've started working on this! Tags can be applied more than one-at-a-time more easily, and screenshots will follow soon... dependency uploading has been enabled for admins and authors. I'm not sure whether I should put a hard limit on archive formats.

Well, the reasoning behind the ZIP conversions we imposed on the archive's non-ZIP files was that MZX would eventually get its own internal archive browser, and that MZX could also take these games and run them in the ZIPs. With MZX dev as it stands, though...

With that, I could see why you'd want to merge old ZIP files, too (not something I see as a bad thing particularly, but the option for multiple ZIPs should still exist...). Preferably with that sort of business there'd also be an option to pick and choose what dependencies you want. I'd look into adding new things to MZX but honestly it's not my sort of thing, yet... archive browsers and webapps are nothing new to me, as I've made my own, and developing web software was my job for a little over a year... but I've no experience networking with C : )
If MZX development starts looking positive again, I'll probably implement format restrictions, then.
As far as screenshot uploading goes, my work on the dialogs yesterday should make it pretty simple to upload multiple without the dialog closing, so I'll go ahead and preemptively flag this...

File format restrictions have been implemented. The file selected for the archive MUST have the .zip format and selected images MUST have either the .png or .gif format. This doesn't affect supplemental files (which can be anything, like a .txt or .pdf) or the MZX release interface (which uses the same mechanism as supplemental files). Additionally, a record must have an archive selected to successfully upload.
