Fire Burns Space? Fire Burns Forever? These are pretty crappy defaults. Fire Burns Forever wasn't even a default in the DOS versions, I don't know why it is now. These defaults will pretty much guarantee that fire spreads uncontrollably.

Updating version to: 2.84c

I wouldn't feel that bad about disabling all of the fire-related defaults but in 2.84c you'll be able to save per-world defaults for Board Settings and Board Sizes..
