One should hopefully be built into MegaZeux.

Severity is very low as most people use external ones anyway (or Robotic code), but still.

This would need the UI in SMZX mode fixed (see [tracker link here], also there were ideas about having the UI always display in normal more), which is a complicated fix that I haven't looked into at all. I agree, there should be something of this regard built into MZX proper.

For similar reasons to the vlayer editor getting pushed back to 2.91, this is too. Some of the groundwork for this is already done, and development of it will probably begin in a branch soon.

Issue fixed in: 2.91

Palette editor support for SMZX modes 2 and 3 was added in GIT 277faf9 (support for SMZX mode 1 has existed since the release of 2.90b).
