this would work similar to the robotic command CHANGE [color] [thing] [param] [color] [thing] [param] only it would be used in the board editor. Examples of its use might include: I've made all of my robots char 33, which is the exclamation point character, so when I press SHIFT, F2 to show robots, they do not flash. being able to change all robots to a different character would fix this. Another example is I need to make all of a certain character customblock a different color because I have modified the palette and now it displays wrong. Not sure how feasible it is to implement a feature like this but there are many times when it would be very helpful.

Currently working on Servo for MegaZeux, I hope to complete it by the middle of 2015? Who knows...

Updating status to: Approved
Updating severity to: 1 - Low
Hi. I think this would be a useful feature, but there needs to be a usable board/overlay search implemented first. The first example sounds like a different issue (the flash thing functionality is kind of limited right now and needs to be improved) (EDIT: bug report here). I'm also not sure modifying robots further than changing their color or removing them with board search/replace is a good idea (yet). The second example makes a lot more sense.
Approving this, but not picking a version for this just yet.
