Backing up your audio

I back up all of my audio CD's on my Hard Drive, just in case. I use FreeRIP2 to encode to MP3. I was just wondering if any of you back up your audio CD's, what program/s do you use?

Somehow it seems more useful to back up hard drive audio on CDs O_o

Exact Audio Copy with LAME. 192kbps, cbr, Secure mode, -q7.

And when you have about 90-100 CDs you still like to listen to, ripping is more for convenience than a means of maintaining a backup.

Esdemo1 and Micah, CDs can get broken, scratched, corrupted, e.t.c. Hard drives are good to back up audio on because they're safer, but it all depends on how you treat either thing.

I know, you back up your CD's on your HDD, but do you backup your hard drive on CD's?

Man think how redundant that'd get, you'd just get stuck in a never ending cycle of backingup.

musicmatch jukebox. hate the program, but it encodes mp3s decently.
i heard from a recording technician that apple is working on some new and almighty alternative to mp3 that will supposedly allow whole cds on a few meg of space. anyone else heard about this?

Pyro is right about Musicmatch Jukebox. It's a little slow, but I havn't found any flaws in the audio quality. Then again, this post is from July and you may have done it already.

You just select the CD drive as your source then click record and choose the tracks.
