Just keep watching the thread in Other Game Development, I update it regularly. I hate giving release dates or percentages (so I won't), but right now the core is done; audio and the editor are not. Many games have been successfully tested and I've been fixing dozens of bugs, but there are probably still many more bugs hidden away. At least they should be far more obscure now.

P.S. The port is not "MZX for Windows" per se because it'll run on more than Windows.

So it's just a non-DOS MZX? or perhaps MZX++?

(Joke in the MZX++: In Java, ++ means Increase by 1.)

Aussie: The MZX port is based in SDL, which means it can run on nearly anything from Windows to Linux to possibly even an XBox (but don't count on the XBox). And furthermore, thank you very much for reviving this topic.
Blaugh!
Serious damage to important body parts pretty much ruins any plans you had for living. Bummer.

MZX requires a high end console like the X-Box to run. ZZT runs on a Dreamcast!

Yeah I'll actually use MZX once in awhile when it's ported because i hate missing out on irc when doing fullscreen shit.

PS2 is a good game system the design could have been better though I think. GCN would have been alot better if more games were released, the design I think was good, spare the controller... purple puke blob with buttons! ;)

As for which one I like best or own... I like each just a well, and I own each one, and their predacessors. NES, SNES, N64, GCN, GBA, PS, PS2, XB, and a Dreamcast. And yes, I spent most of my first paychecks on games aswell.

Um... anyway. The port... is... uh, good.
