This is not assur?d yet, but it's looking like there will be a small MZXer meeting in FORT SAINT AUGUSTINE (slightly south of Jacksonville, FL: map)

It will take place sometime between Thursday, Aug. 5, afternoon and the following Saturday.

Currently it is just Asgromo and I, but if anybody is in the general viscinity (perhaps gofer?), you are welcome. Please contact myself or asgromo, preferably through IRC or AIM.

Sex is not mandatory, but it is suggested.

I would go if someone would be willing to give me a ride from Missouri. It's not THAT far out of the way ;). So I probably won't be going. If the
opportunity comes and I can get a ride, hey, ill go.

if i go then i'll be driving from NC

but that's kinda unlikely unless someone from georgia wants to swing by and pick me up (i'm like walking distance from the border) and i doubt i'd be able to work it so i could attend anyway. but cool idea.

I know what you mean- they'd be worried for us. =D

Whatever the case, I'm something like 30 or 40 minutes from St. Augustine by vehicle, so if I have to ride my bike their I'll make it. It's going to get a little funky though- School starts Friday, the DoZ is late Friday, he'll be here Thursday to Sunday... Hrm.

Selan_P; where do you live? I will probably have a car, and worse-comes-to-worse, I could pick asgromo up and meet you somewhere, depending on how far away it is? Is it like, 30 minutes? Hour? from St. Augustine? Anyway, it'd be cool if you could respond before Thursday morning, because I'm unsure of internet access once I get to St. Augustine.

It's probably a few hours from St. Augustine, but I've never been there so I don't know. It's in the same state, at least; I'm in Ft. Myers.

Oh, hmmm... We might be able to meet you half-way or something, but that's kinda far... If you're interested, see what you can put together =/

Well, I talked to RoSS personally today... That was kind of neato. We met in a McDonald's near the hotel he's staying at and talked for an hour about MegaZeux, for the most part. Truthfully, the encounter would have gone better if, I don't know, I was a year or so older. Then at least I could be a bit more independent of my family than I was today, as they were kind of impatient. Might have actually been able to do a little more with RoSS. He'll still be close by until Sunday, though, so there may be a chance for something more, but it's doubtful to me. Whatever the case, it was an interesting, somewhat unreal experience.

And he says he's sorry Selan couldn't make it.

Love to, but I haven't got my license yet. At least I'm finally close enough to some other MZXers.

Yeah, and the fact that you'd be at least six days late might also be a problem... =D

Neh. It's not a problem =P

But seriously, if anybody ever wants to come around here (florida), I'd be more than happy to accomidate them. Unless you're going to like orlando or souther. I'm somewhere around 6 hours from orlando =/

Selan would probably be a better bet for orlando =P
