Help
I don't know about anyone else, but where I am, in the last week, I have heard nothing except for "presedential election...bush...kerry...electoral college...etc". I don't even live in America, and yet it still is the only topic of conversation. I have had it from my current events class, my non american classmates, my american classmates, my teachers, and even my parents won't stop talking about it. Sure I care about who becomes president, but I think there is just a lot of commotion about it, and I feel it's overkill. What are all your opinions about it?

I agree. This is a pretty sucky election but it should die down in a week or two. People are saying it's the most important electoin ever. Yeah, right.

I really respect Kerry for his decision not to press the recount in Ohio... The fact that he saw the unity of the people more important than personal pride and winning and such speaks volumes of him.

this one time i went rollerskating and the dj was playing blame it on the boogie and it was really fun i skated with a girl yes life in the big freakin' pomegranate wasn't always easy...
Don't blame me, I voted proudly for cheez whiz i put it on my crackers at lunch i brought enough to share would you like a smoke i'll trade seventeen smokes for a harmonica the escape is planned for poker night. Bush is an sack of dollars with "$$$" printed on it i saw the hamburglar running off with it he dove into the pool and played hockey with shamu, it was going great until michael jordan butted in and blew up there was burnt polyester everywhere even on your house.

Me, I definately think it's overkill. The coverage everywhere is too much, and spending time looking at the break down of voting in different states every hour is too much for me. My family felt compelled to do it anyways though.

Really, I was discussing politics almost nonstop for most of the day, and almost exclusively not through my initiation. It may frustrate you all, but deal with this for a while. You'll get your chance to go nuts about it again when the military and ex-pat votes come in. For now it's overkill.
