Nadir -- yeah, it's bringing me close to my financial doom... I used to buy CDs, but I hardly ever do that these days. There are plenty of CDs I want, but man, it's all so expensive. Or perhaps I just need a job.
Anyway, here's what I'm looking forward to:
- LOTR: ROTK Extended Edition (December 12th)
- Twin Peaks Season 2 (let's pray it will some day see the light)
I recently acquired the US (region 1) release of The Fearless Vampire Killers, which is the first movie by Roman Polanski (1966, I think). Hilarious!

also herc i wholeheartedly approve of your dvd collection
i mean man, it has DELICATESSEN
that is one badass film
EDIT: you don't have the evil dead films though, which makes me sad!
also may i recommend dvd releases of spaced, father ted and brass eye, which are all amazing british comedy programmes (well, father ted is irish, but whatever)
spaced is by the people who did SHAUN OF THE DEAD before they made that film and is pretty amazing

* The complete collection of the "Megaman" TV show, two collections of three discs each.
* The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers (original edition)
* The Fellowship Of The Ring Extended edition (even better than the original.)
* Various DVD collections of early cartoons and comedy shows, such as The Three Stooges (comedy gold =) or Popeye.

This week, on LANCER PONDERS:
<lolilover> I notice alot of Japanese fiction involving kemono-mimi characters always has the main character saving an innocent animal and then the animal returns as a girl to reward him for his kindness.
<lolilover> Well there's a cat that is always wandering around in my backyard. Should I feed it in the hopes that one day a catgirl will show up at my door?

Hurray! Delicatessen is quite awesome, indeed. You're right about Evil Dead, but I'm planning on purchasing the trilogy at some point. My collection is nowehere near complete.
I'll check out those comedy programmes you mentioned. I haven't heard of them!

I can't wait to finish college and get a real job so I can buy myself some of the stuff I've been wanting to buy for a long time, like anime and comic books.

Serious damage to important body parts pretty much ruins any plans you had for living. Bummer.

the water boy (never even seen that before. I've want to see happy gilmore. Heard that it's funny)
some of Resident Evil (which I didn't like a whole lot. or, it was okay, just that the CG monster looks so fake. it's sad. They should've tried a model, maybe?)
the Texas chainsaw massacre [sp] (this one I thought was a bit stupid, but it was satisfying whenever the girl ran over the officer twice. Even though I kind of liked that guy in full metal jacket

<@Tixus> Anyway, I set the year to 1988 for some reason.
<@Tixus> And set the microwave to run for a minute and 28 seconds.
<@Tixus> But it failed to send me back in time, and I was disappointed.
<Insidious> Tixus accidentally microwaved the 80s
<Insidious> that is my takeaway from this
