whoa thanks man...really. thanks a lot.

I'm not quite sure what's going on in the last one either. It's just a guy shooting at something with bullets hitting the wall behind him. That's the furthest it goes.

Interesting. I'd like to see more of that style.

he looks like a morrowind breton =P
anyway, these pics are awesome! i wish i had artistic talent like that...
shading is really nicely done. yeah, some of the proportions are off. in the gun pic, i would focus more on the hands than the head, esp. because people are going to focus on the guns he's holding and therefore his hands more than on his head.
flower pic is interesting. kinda weird but interesting.
also, it's good to leave some blank space around the edges, but it can be a little excessive (i.e. the gun pic.)
<Tox> bah. I may as well give in and shop australia. D:

Actually, sorry pyro, that post wasn't nice. Still I just don't get it. The guy looks like a "morrowind breton"? I wasn't thinking of any such thing when I drew it. "It's good to leave some blank space around the edges, but it can be a little excessive (i.e. the gun pic.)" I'm seriously not sure what that's supposed to mean. I drew the guy with the gun, I was going to draw something on the left side of the picture, and then I thought it looked good without it so I kept it blank. It's like in photography. Of course I meant to leave that side blank. Do I seem like I've only been drawing just a year? More like over ten years. Still, I've never actually been in a drawing class :D And I don't have any hard feelings against anyone who critisizes anything in my pictures. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, as I've said. Just say what you like and dislike if that suites you. Please don't say things like there being too much space left blank in the gun pic. It's like, who cares. It's a drawing. I mean to do it anyway. That or I just didn't care.

Thanks for liking my work though, pyro. (these pics are awesome! i wish i had artistic talent like that...) I've gotten a lot of encouragement towards my drawing and that's nice. I'll soon post more.

And you can say whatever you want, pyro. I really don't like flagging people down like this. Cause I feel bad afterwards :/

-peace-

hey it's cool, zenith... The bird does look a little strange, it was done on purpose, but yes, it looks a little on the wierd side. I like drawing birds like that. Kind of my own design.

edit: it's all in the color for this one I guess.

another edit: Crayons are AWESOME.

about the bird pic: nice. crayons rock. but they don't taste as good as playdough.

about bramblekid: i'm confused. here's a small collage of your comments:

Quote

You can critisize any of the pictures
Anyone else have anymore comments? perhaps more positive?

Yeah it's cool for everyone to have their various likes and dislikes in pictures.
No negative comments, please.

Alright pyro, I'll keep your advice in mind.

i can't tell. do you want us to point out any errors or not? and are there any actual errors in your drawings or just things that you meant to put in there? i'm confused.

also, the breton comment was just a joke. he simply bore a passing resemblance to a morrowind breton.

Well, I guess I just don't know. You can critisize my work, but please don't point out waht you think are errors. That's annoying. It's almost like people telling me how to do what I do and what they don't do =/ And even if they do do what I do, it's annoying (got that?) But it's okay, I overreacted about some things. Just tell me what you like and what you dislike, but don't say it's flat out wrong that there's too much space to the left of the gun man. Yaknow? Just as an example. No hard feelings about the breton thing either, I know you were joking. I think I used that to make a point..something like that..

I'm used to people who are like, "Cool. That's pretty good. I like this and this and blah blah blah."
So now I'll try and behave myself. heh. You seriously say whatever you want, man. The things that you think are errors were probably done on purpose, that or I've already noticed it, but these are just pictures I've drawn. Who really cares anyway? They aren't masterpieces, I've drawn each one of these in just one short sitting. So I'm showing off the pictures to those who will appreciate them and be like, "Oh, that's really cool" regardless of little technical "errors". In fact, I love it when people just say what they like and don't even see the small mess-ups. They just accept the picture for what's in it: nice shading, pretty lighting, color, and so on. Of course, not everyone's gonna like my stuff and that's fine. I do it for my enjoyment. As it's written, beneath "Art by Bramblekid," "just for fun."
So anyway, I don't feel like going on and on on this argument or debate or whatever you want to call it...this is my stuff, take it or leave it.
This isn't directed straight at you, pyro. Really it isn't I don't dislike you man. I wanted to end this pointless ongoing thing with me always trying to defend my work. So in other words, I'm more in the wrong. I need to accept what everyone thinks. Hope this clears everything. Phoo..talk about a long-winded post.

-Bramblekid

oh yeah and pyro: thanks for thinking crayons rock. cause they do. I also like chalk.

The bird's head is like an ice-cream cone with a black pac-man shaped chocolate sticked to it. That's not very bird-esque. Make it have some kind of feeling. Like, happy. Or unhappy. Anyways, don't let all the bird's important face traits fo away into a cone-like beak. That doesn't personalise the bird very much.

okay, let's go through this once more:

Quote

You can critisize my work, but please don't point out waht you think are errors.

so you want me to criticize it but refrain from being critical? dude, part of criticism is pointing out good things and the other part is pointing out faults. here's the definition: "To judge the merits and faults of; analyze and evaluate."
so do you want criticism or not?

Quote

That's annoying.

so you just want complements?

Quote

And even if they do do what I do, it's annoying

i admire your ability to use the word "do" 3 times in 5 words =)
seriously, it's cool.

Quote

. Just tell me what you like and what you dislike, but don't say it's flat out wrong

i didn't say it was wrong. i just said that empty space could be a little excessive.

Quote

You seriously say whatever you want, man.

wait, i thought that i'm not supposed to point out errors...

Quote

this is my stuff, take it or leave it.

these are my comments. take them or leave them.

i'm not really annoyed or anything, i'm just confused. do you want comments or not? do you just want complements or what?
