Any one who hasn't had the pleasure of being in any of the betas, I assure you the game is far and above the greatest mmorpg I've ever had my hands on.

Fuck yeah \m/ my friend has the collector's version preordered and I'm taking his 15-day free trial code that he gets since I'm cheap. But I'll definitely buy it after the trial is over.

I look forward to this one - I played a bit in the open beta and liked what I saw, and if I'm lucky, I could get the chance to play with the entire family. Four-man mob rule without the need for text messaging = the coolest co-op in the world.

Shame we're all going to have to buy our own copies.

when i saw you had the last post in this thread i was kinda worried, but it was a pleasant suprise to see that you actually are getting the game looking forward to playing with you and any other mzxers who are getting in on this

Make sure to create the correct character on the correct server, you are not allowed to have hoard AND alliance characters on the same server!

I'll be playing alliance primarily for the first month my self, after that I plan to play a hoard character on mannoroth.

I'm not playing on a PvP server. I created a character on it, and now they ALL have High Population. There's a queue to log in to it right now.

I likely won't be joining any PvE or RP servers for a long time, it's borring, reminds me of FF11 -.-

Remember guys, you cannot create hoard characters AND alliance characters on the same server, thats why we needed at least two.

Yes, and the PvP servers are incredibly full of morons who use "fag" and "gay" like a comma. On top of that, on every EST PvP server, there is High Population, which means a queue to login.

I highly doubt you will be able to successfully run such a massively multiplayer game as WoW. In something like MapleStory, you can get away with it... With WoW... ehhhhhhhhh, good luck but you're probably wasting every cent you put into it =/

Actualy I'll have you know, I find the PvP servers to have a more mature player base than the PvE ones, it was like in the open beta as well.

As for the lag issue, blizzard has asked every one to join the mountain time and PST time servers here: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.a...p=1&tmp=1#post2

According to them you will not experiance serious lag by playing on a different realm. I have an eastern account now and my ping is usualy around 51ms, save for when the servers went down last night I never saw it go above 150.

Thank you for proving my point. I don't want to be on a server filled with people like you. The server I'm on is fantastic. It's filled with people who, god forbid, have an IQ greater than that of a toothpick, and don't equate non-PvP-centric gameplay with "pansie-ish." Enjoy your time with all of the other prepubescent jackasses running around with the screen name "legolas" (or variants of that) screaming about how "___ is a gay fag because hes so gay and he enjoys sex with men what a fag" (taken almost word-for-word from a conversation on my first and last PvP server).
