The DoZ has been pushed back an hour. It will now begin at 1PM EST/6PM GMT on December 26.

Judges chosen: Wervyn, ShloobeR, wildweasel, seven. #doz canned due to lack of interest.

Hey, good news for people who are banned from and/or hate #mzx: I have a channel set aside for DoZ announcements. That channel is, appropriately, #doz on Espernet. Though the channel is moderated, you can seek out and /msg your team members there if you have to form a channel at the last minute or anything. People who are looking for a team beforehand can go there too I guess. I'll also post hourly notices stating how much time is left in the DoZ while it's in progress. What more could you ask for?

Judges will be chosen and announced by Monday, December 5, 2005
Signup form goes online on Monday, December 12, 2005
Topics will be announced on Monday, December 26, 2005 @ 1PM EST/6PM GMT
Deadline for judging results is Tuesday, January 11, 2006

You sign up starting the 12th. The actual "Day" of Zeux will be December 26th @ 12pm EST through December 27th @ 12pm EST.

It's too early to tell yet but so far I have no plans for that day. This would actually be my first ever DoZ if I decide to participate... we'll see though. One thing's fo' sure, I'm definitely not gonna judge this time, what a kefuffle.

Dr_Dos, you can join Team Ultra Mega Mega Man X2. (me, micah, and ler) as an alternate, for the sadly possible case ler's house hasnt recovered enough from Katrina/Rita by then.

Hey I suck a DoZ too, heck I suck at all MZX contests and yet I sign up anyway... O_o;

Although the only reason why I cannot stand the last one was because I needed my sleep... Zzzz.... maybe I should get someone to attend to the topic announcement for me or e-mail me the topic or something...

24 hours is the time you have, and they start at the time stated above. After that, you have to send your submission in by the same time the next day.

Shit, i just remembered the only way I can DOZ is if I quit my job :p I work friday from 10 pm to 6 am saturday :/ And then I need to go back to work by 4pm saturday and work more till 6am sunday.... BAH!

I definitely won't be able to enter, but I'll be happy to judge... actually, I'm quite keen to have a go at judging (though afterwards I might be whistling a different tune from what I've heard about judging).
