For one the only way he looks like Harry in which I imagine him and see him in illustrations are the glasses. And second Harry Potter is cool. Well no, he's a moron, as far as female-handling goes, but the books are cool.

Does anybody want to ship me some AA batteries so I can get the darned camera to work? I have my halloween costume picked out and everything (I have this old mechanic's uniform in my closet with my name on it and everything, but the stupid frickin' camera doesn't have any power left! Argh!)

EDIT: Ps, the picture's fine but b43 is down.

But don't, under any circumstance, ask why. :p

OK I am now at UNIVERSITY which means there are photos of me doing interesting things with people I've only known for like 2 weeks.

Posted Image
I'm the one on the right, obviously. Yes I'm in a suit but no I am not going to court. :(
(I colourised this picture because of the red-eye thing, it was particularly bad on this picture.)

Posted Image
Me and Charlotte.

Posted Image
Me "getting my groove on" with Charlotte and Claire (and other people I don't know.)
It was a fun party.

Oh, and just for amusement, this was our game of "human jenga" on the grass at about 4am.
Posted Image
I know, it looks like Karma Sutra or something. I'm the one in the black coat on the left, as Chris chose me as the "brick" to pull out. It was one of the most painful things ever, I would not recommend human jenga to anyone. :(

I'm at university and I haven't had the opportunity to play human Jenga. :( I want my money back.

And T-bone, it is scary but you actually do look pineapple-ish in that picture. o_O

Yes, the one at the party? He's blatantly staring at that girl's breasts, just look at that expression on his face, GUILTY AS CHARGED.

But let's be honest, we've all been there haven't we... right? :p

Also XCol, in the first picture, you seem to have a small wheel on your head and it looks like you have no left foot... which leads me to believe that you have a wooden leg, you pirate.

Hahaha, now you mention it, the picture with the dodgy guy in it is pure comedy.
I'll have to show Claire, she will not be impressed.

And emalkay yes, I didn't notice that but yeah I guess I didn't sort my trousers out at the bottom. Ruins the smart image a bit. :(
As for the "wheel", that's quite obviously on the wall. :P

Ironically, my den (where the picture was taken) is the dumpiest room in the house. It just looks really cozy because of the angle.

The soft lighting adds to the effect, really. All you need is a pair of slippers, a smoking jacket, and a fancy pipe.

Alright, after weeks of whining about not having batteries in the camera, I finally found some batteries that worked - so here are pictures of me and my room.

Posted Image
Here's me in the living room - in my Halloween costume! (This mechanic's coverall was provided by my grandfather many years ago, complete with my name patch)
Posted Image
Desk #1: Lord Greystoke. Houses my old Pentium 166 with 32 megs of RAM, some dishes, my coaster collection (the CD-R spindle), and a Certificate of Excellence awarded to me at school. (I am such a showoff.)
Posted Image
A view of Lord Greystoke sitting next to my "new" computer, the Dell Dimension 8300. Also see here a view of my garbage can, sitting on top of a green bin full of old books.
Posted Image
Portrait shot of the Dell desk. I've got a whole media center right here. A couple of CD racks, a stereo, two consoles, a printer...I got it made. In case you're wondering about what that Sprite can is sitting on...it's a Tomb Raider demo disc. "Ah, Ms. Croft! Let us see you escape THIS one!"
Posted Image
A view of the desk sitting next to "El Gigantor" - my nine-story CD/media rack, which also doubles as a holster for my GunCon 2. With this setup (and enough pillows to support my back), I could lie in bed and plug away on Time Crisis.
Posted Image
And here is my end table. The lamp was my grandfather's. Notice here my Garfield book collection (which I intend to complete someday).
Blaugh!

<@Tixus> Anyway, I set the year to 1988 for some reason.

<@Tixus> But it failed to send me back in time, and I was disappointed.
<Insidious> Tixus accidentally microwaved the 80s
<Insidious> that is my takeaway from this

That's something I get from my dad. He has loads upon loads of places to put stuff, and he's pretty organized about his stuff.

And also, how do you have so many games.

That's easy - been buying them for my whole life. El Gigantor is a testament to over ten years of game purchases - everything back to the original Myst.

:p. And why do you keep the freaking boxes!?

The ones I kept the boxes for (on El Gigantor anyway) actually contain their DVD cases. Time Crisis 2's box...that just looks real cool.

i wish i still had my metal fatigue box =(
