A Note About Artwork

It is permissable to post tasteful nude art, provided you include the disclaimer "(18+)" in your topic title. This is not the same thing as posting porn or other smut. Know and be mindful of the difference. If you are unsure of whether an image you wish to post is within the bounds of good taste, run it by an Admin privately first.

And these are some of the things I draw in the fifteen minutes of lectures, or between classes or the like. A lot of the are running into the same sort of theme, so why not thread also? :D

Enjoy.

I drew this when I first moved in, and everyone seemed to really not like me. Now I've got to know them a little more, and I now know that they don't dislike me... I just really creep them out. But I draw them cool pictures, so they're willing to put up with me. :D

I liked the one with Pibel, Tamalie, and Mrs. Bytrewench (haha!). That was more than just a doodle - it had a story as well, albeit a rather short one.

Nice work!

Duuuuuuuuuude Toxik let me be the first (I mean the last but the most sincerly- HEH) to say you have got some serious talent. Your style is really eye-popping-- shading is realistic/or interesting, lines are great. Very professional-looking. In all seriousness I see similarities in our stuff. Your's, I think, is just plain neater and cooler than my stuff, but I was looking at how you make shading come out of the corner there and how the fish kind of fits into the design, and I was also looking at the out-of-proportion house, the few random cartoons.. all of which I enjoy putting in my drawing pages. Awesome! What an inspiration. It's that feeling where I wish we could switch drawing styles for just a week or so. Maxim, I could tell you some things I suppose, but you'd probably rather have our pro-artist here do it. And Guy, sigh... yeah, some of the best art I've seen come out of a community member. Go on, go on, say it-- you don't like my stuff. No no, I know, I know..

"no-one said to his drawings, 'that's just plain weird' or 'simply random and out of context' or ' way out of proportion'" : )

Well I made an attempt a while ago. This is twice the physical size with half the detail. :D

I'm not overly fond of it, but that's mosty just because it's blank.

Very cool! That has got some depth going to it, nice. I just thought of another thing, which is: the fact that you can see the sides of your sketch pad from the scan makes it a whole lot cooler.

I love how tox makes it look so easy by showing off thoes sketch pad edges, you'll notice that the spiral doesnt have bits of torn paper trapped within. It's like every mark on every page was without fault.

I hate you tox. XD

Seriously though, I'm in awe with how great these "sketches" are. I'm sure they far surpass anything I could hope to achieve with my clumsie hands.
