EDIT: Yeah, since AR PL New Sung can't show it. Looks like it was typed directly with a JIS keyboard for that particular typeset.

<Malwyn> Yes, yes. Don't worry I'd rather masturbate with broken glass than ask you for help again. :(

I'm here in Japan studying abroad for six weeks of intense class action. It's been fun and a little overwhelming so far. Baraged with lots of Japanese so far, about a third to half of which I understand, but everyone here is of course very nice and very helpful, and are as eager to try out their broken English as I am to try out my broken Japanese.
If I can figure out how to get AIM to connect, I'll probably talk to seven about setting me up something a little more custom than a stock livejournal, but I may have to settle for what I can get. If it comes to it, I suppose I can always just blog in this thread. Now, though, I think I'll just get some sleep. They do keep us busy here...

That's what I've been hearing too, and after having been stalked by one over AIM for about a year (she registered about sixteen different names to get around my blocks), I don't doubt that.
Serious damage to important body parts pretty much ruins any plans you had for living. Bummer.

Hilarious. I take it you did see that before he changed it the title was a random bunch of nondescript unicode characters? Either that or you just felt like telling me that you can't juggle. Okay.
In any case I guessed he was just saying Greetings from Japan again, and it turns out I was right. 日本 (nihon) being japan, から (kara) being from, and well we all know what konnichi wa is.
But you're right; I don't know how to juggle either.
EDIT: Actually, I did have something constructive to say. If you get a chance; check out a Shogi club over there. Shogi is very unpopular in Australia, but since Japan is its country of origin... in any case, it's a really neat game. Really tactical, moreso than chess. A lot of calculation.

It makes no real difference if you can't speak Japanese, it just makes it difficult to go around. Whilst I haven't been there my parents and siblings have.
Of course I wanted to go, but if my parents are going then I'm out.

This week, on LANCER PONDERS:
<lolilover> I notice alot of Japanese fiction involving kemono-mimi characters always has the main character saving an innocent animal and then the animal returns as a girl to reward him for his kindness.
<lolilover> Well there's a cat that is always wandering around in my backyard. Should I feed it in the hopes that one day a catgirl will show up at my door?
