<@Tixus> Anyway, I set the year to 1988 for some reason.
<@Tixus> And set the microwave to run for a minute and 28 seconds.
<@Tixus> But it failed to send me back in time, and I was disappointed.
<Insidious> Tixus accidentally microwaved the 80s
<Insidious> that is my takeaway from this

As you can see, I'm very minimalist.

This is the desktop for "Zeus", my Dell XPS 600 gaming rig. Since I got myself a nice new LCD monitor, I've cranked it up to 1280x1024 (the max for this model). Haven't really gone looking for better wallpaper though...
Serious damage to important body parts pretty much ruins any plans you had for living. Bummer.

<Malwyn> Yes, yes. Don't worry I'd rather masturbate with broken glass than ask you for help again. :(

I myself have this alternating background thing ... It chooses one of 150 images randomly every time my computer boots. Here are two:

and yes, i run in that oddball 1280x800 widescreen laptop resolution, so i pretty much have to find 1280x960 backgrounds and crop them. anyway, i rotate my background pretty often. other backgrounds include:
- advent children.
- appleseed.
- another cloud one.
- the obligatory ozy and millie.
- an F-16 from our very own 148th fighter wing in Duluth (on a side note, i should find out tuesday whether i'm cleared to do avionics stuff and possibly fly in the future. i'm hopeful...)
- the obligatory oblivion promo shot.
- another oblivion one, because i felt like it.
- an F-22 Raptor and an F-15 Eagle flying together.
- another raptor background.
- sephiroth. yayz for advent children.
- some trees covered in snow. this is one of the few times it snowed while i was in tennessee. awesome pic taken by a friend.
edit: ross, i love that comic =)

Fairly simple though I think my background is pretty sweet.
An icon layout like that would make me go ballistic within the hour!
