Hey fellow MZXers, I don't think I properly introduced myself after posting a couple of topics here (even though it says I've been joined to DigitalMZX since 2002).

My name's Ryan. A few of you might be familiar with my work. I've submitted "Ryan The Thunder Extreme," "Kya's Sword," and "WOD: Warriors Of Dublin" to the site some time ago. I've made a couple more games besides those.

I started my game-making in ZZT, then moved on to MegaZeux, and finally did a bit of RPG Maker 2003. I have the most experience in MZX, and even though I consider some of my coding advanced, it certainly isn't nearly as good as some of the stuff I've seen on here.

Anyhow, nice to meet you all!

EDIT: Oh shit, I didn't see the "Introduce Yourself!" sticky. Sorry!

Hey! I'm a moderate mzxer. And I've made one game so far. Most of the others I just gave up on. I haven't submitted it yet but I will when I get the chance.

I started programming cause my friend found zzt and gave it to me. After about a year we found out about megazeux and programmed some stuff there.

So in summary, Hi! I'm a noob!

I dont remember if I posted here already but my real name is Kyle Prince, Im 25 years old, I enjoy surfing the internet, designing websites for freinds, cooking, that sort of thing.

When I was younger I had a dream of programing computers and designing award winning video games. The kind of stuff that got you an oscar award. But the problem was that I flunked math and that Im no good at all in in it. The Guidence counsleor said it was dyscalcula or somthing. Could only program in primitive codes. Forgot most of it. ZZT and MEgazeux were very very good!

I wrote several games for Megazeux and sold them online but my computer crashed and I lost them. I gave up afterwards and stuck to making websites for a living and some other stuff on the side.

I used to think that everyone got tired of Megazeux and moved on until a month from right now when I found out about this website. My desire is to get back into writing some fine stuff and maybe make megazeux more popular than most other game desigining programs and so on.

The only website I can point out right now that Im working on is a church website in Maine. Winter Port Baptist Church Its a church in Winterport about a few minutes from where I live in Maine.

Ive got several ideas right now. 1. A stupid cartoon game just for me to refamiliarize myself with MZX for my own pleasure, 2. A Starflight type game with a very large galaxy that will star Jonathan "Commander Riker" Frankes (He and his wife run a gift shop near their summer home in Belfast Maine. Im trying to see if he's willing to star in it.) 3. A controversial Game about Mel Gibson and his anti semitism. Mad Max: Beyond Hitler Dome(Im going to sing the theme song for it using my best Tina Turner Impresion. ;) )
4. A game about the United States under George W and about some stuff in Israel a Jewish freind of mine told me about. 5. A remake of Sid Meir's Pirates! for MZX!

Further, Im planing remakes and sequels of some old games for MZX and ZZT I used to play such as Castle of the Aardvarks, Code red, Chrono wars ETC. that should be real nice.

Welcome! Always good to see new faces, even if they're old ones. Advice:

I myself am not too interested in a Mel Gibson or Dubya MZX game, especially if it's going to make some controversial pronuncements. Unless you call it "Dubya" in which case the name will be so awesome that I will be forced against my very will to play it.

Mental note, rename "Chronostodian" to "Dubya", and replace the time traveling janitor named pete with a time traveling president (a lovable goof) named bush.

Name's Greywolf. They say I'm a savage. I say, if you call this civilization, maybe bein' a savage ain't so bad.

Yeah, um. I've been messing with ZZT/MZX for a long time now, probably 6 years or more. Never put a game up on the net or anything. One of these days I'll finish something and put it up, heh.

Actually, I've been in the middle of a project called Unfamous for a while now, the problem being I've rethought the whole concept several times over now. It was originally a standard idiot-on-an-humorous-inventory-based-quest game, it's now something completely... not, and rather difficult to describe... sort of a sarcastic-actor-who-breaks-the-fourth-wall-constantly-takes-the-part-of-an-idiot-
in-a-humorous-inventory-based-quest-game-and-gets-into-lengthy-arguments-about-the-
nature-of-stupidity-with-the-narrator game.

I told you it was difficult to describe.

Anyways, if I ever finish that I'll probably put it up here and you can all scratch your heads at it in person, instead of simply scratching your heads at my description of it. Hehe.

Hi. I'm that noob from that one thing.
Yep, I'm HF. I don't have inspiration for games, but I make engines when I'm bored (like that one jump and run thingy) - just if someone would _please_ give a story, I'd enjoy to make a game of it.
So, hi DMZX. ;)

Hi I'm Lily. I've never even touched mzx before, although I've heard enough about it from Torte. If I was any good at computers I might attempt mzx.

I'm from Canada, currently away at university in Sault Ste. Marie (one of the furthest northern cities in Ontario). I'm 18, and Torte's girlfriend. So yeah, hi ;)

HappyFoppy: Buzzards fight for suffrage in the Roaring Twenties. You play young author Mark Twain, mankind's last hope against the rise of the militant Buzzard Nation (BUZNAT) party. The title? "Sufferin' Buzzards!"

Hi, um, I'm obviously NihilistMatt, I'm 14 (actually, I was quite surprised to find out I'm not the youngest around ;)), I'm just as obviously male, and I'm from rainy old England. I've been MZXing for quite a bit (since I was 9 or 10 I think - I've got this really horrible unfinished game kicking about that is probably down there with Blue Buckaroo) but I've never finished anything worth uploading (which is probably why I've only just summoned the courage to register). Right now I'm working on a project, rather imaginitvely titled "Project Free" (which is probably going to be another vaporware release), and I hope to have it completed sometime this decade.

I hope actually being "on the inside" and not just lurking around the forums should whip me into game-releasing shape, instead of just sitting around with MZX in front of me promising myself "I will make this game!" and eventually not doing so.

Favourite MZX games so far: Xenogenesis/Dark Corner. All those fantastic games that never got completed sorta remind me of me :(

Hi, I'm Simon, or Resonance_Cascade (Yes, it's taken from Half Life) if you prefer. I've only recently (e.g, yesterday) started playing with MZX, having been introduced to it and given basic examples by GMP/Game Master Pro, and am finding it fairly easy. Already I've learnt to script things such as bots, and other things, and hope to release some high quality games in the future.
