Neato, Gungrave. Here's mine this month, showing off Psi and a picture I took of Lake Michigan:

Es's Desktop

Edit: I'm gonna have a nifty to-do list on there, too, once I finish my C port of Gina Trapani's todo.sh idea. http://todotxt.com/

Why is it that you have an Apple icon on the lower-left of the screen, but it looks like you're using Windows?

Look, I have no icons either. I also ditched Google Desktop. Wallpaper is a macro-photograph of the Wii remote's A button that I got off of Siliconera.

I will never stop loving that A button. ;)

Oh, your start bar looks really odd on the bottom of the screen, with the Apple-esque rounded corners. Might I suggest just using Energy Blue? It has that same bluish crystal look to it and, since it's made by Microsoft, will work fine with an unpatched uxtheme.dll.

Why not just... move the taskbar to the top of the screen? ;)

yeah, usually those themes are meant for that. one time i went into photoshop and made a desktop-sized image and filled it with a linear gradient going from bright blue at the top to bright pink at the bottom. then i saved it optimized with four colors, set it as my desktop, and applied a mac theme. it was just like the lc 520 beasts they had at my middle school.

ahh.

also, here's my desktop! actually, it's my workspace. this is what i look at all day!

<@Tixus> Anyway, I set the year to 1988 for some reason.
<@Tixus> And set the microwave to run for a minute and 28 seconds.
<@Tixus> But it failed to send me back in time, and I was disappointed.
<Insidious> Tixus accidentally microwaved the 80s
<Insidious> that is my takeaway from this

i made a desktop background! <3 eve =)
and yes, "made" means more than "pasted two pics together." there were a couple of interjection marks across her wings that i cut out. i learned how to use the clone stamp to patch up lines. overall i think it cleaned up pretty well.
edit: thumbnail, not hotlink. silly pyro.

Took this picture the other day when I got my new camera. It's the old gym at IU; I've always wanted a picture of this window.
