Currently listening to "Big In Japan" by Alphaville, via LaunchCAST personal internet radio thing (like last.fm but suckier)
One of my favourites ever. I just love the introduction, the way it builds up, and then there's the repeating bass/whatever line at the bottom that gradually becomes more aggressive... and it's German (but in the English language) and I like German synthpop... and then it ends with a sustained gong and goes silent.

...And now I'm listening to the Caverns of Zeux soundtrack... on my MP3 player! (or rather, some crappy MP3 converts of the mods that of course haven't looped and therefore the songs are mostly very short and all the sound effects on mods such as cv_magic and cv_boss are audible)
Also, I need to edit cv_title so it adds in all those jumps that the title robot adds in because right now it's like "a delicious mint julep!..........................................a delicious mint julep!"

Linkin Park was never regarded emo by anyone as far as I recall... people don't like them because they are sellouts. I thought Reanimation with Jurassic 5 was awesome, and their collab stuff with Jay-Z is good, but other than that it's just run of the mill nu-metal, and the only good nu-metal is Nonpoint.
