You don't actually have to stick to the attached file size limit. You can also use a web hosting service and a link. This was done with loco, thats why the file size is 8 mb.

I can host it for you...

...and recompress the OGGs...
...and make the game smaller.
Huh.

8MB is fine. There's no need to make compression since that'll only lower the quality and possibly damage the game.

You have sharing hosts like RapidShare for a reason anyway.

Ok, I've been working on it for a little bit now, so here's an update:

It has...
17 playable boards so far, most of which are larger than 100 x 100.
Three cinematics that take up separate boards.
Other Cutscenes that are within the boards
5 different types of enemies with different AI and attacking styles.
4 party members, not including the player.
3 full minigames.
only 5 out of the 32 spaces in the world map filled out.
An updated inventory and quest system.
The ability to level all of the players up to LV 125.
And One and a half chapters of gameplay.

Well... I've slowed down my progress on this, now that I have other respionsibilities, but I still work on it sometimes, even though I work on other things, too. I kind of got bored...

I have been working on a group project, and I've also been making more of a few of my other mzx games. This isn't my only project...

My main stuff that I'm working on is:
  • RPG Skool
  • Half Life Weapons Engine
  • KomOS (Not much at all)
  • Demonic Rule (Barely, I might just quit this)
  • And a few other little things

I just get really bored and start doing less when I've been working on the smae thing gor a while... I also need to find someone to help me out with level design, because I'm so bad at it, and that's one of the things that take me so long.

Don't look at me! If I helped with level design your game would be impossibly hard (see Slave Pit). So far your levels have been looking great, I especially liked the look of the forests. What particular area is difficult for you to make?

All areas are hard for me to make! I plot where every thing is, then i draw it out... from that i make a representation in MZX and edit char sets and palette's accordingly. Then i create all of the cutscenes and board links, which take a while due to all of the condidions and factors involved... you don't want a dead character to be talking in the middle of a cutscene, or be accidentaly walking into a horde of monsters without a single party member? also, I have to think of good locations for all of the save points, stores, enemies, etc... Then there's storyline editing. Making a non-linear game isn't as easy as it may seem. Then there's debugging and updating, and searching for the right music. Even the minigames take a long time to plan out and create. Not to mention that ALL of the quests and such must be compatible with each other, and I need to make sure that EVERYTHING is working properly... It's all just so time consuming, and it's worse when you have other things that you want to, or would like to be working on... I mwan, Komment Games needs to actually make it's first group game, and no longer needs to be just me... I have to have help on larger projects such as this, or they probably will take very long to get done. I have spent probably more than 100 hours on this game so far, you know. I'm not mad or anything, just stressed... Ever since I came out with the demo, people all want more, but more is a long way from coming.

- Sorry...

Edit: wow... I didn't even notice that i had typed so much... And, the game is about 6 MB zipped, and the save file is 10mb in itself, which i found to be very odd, but it's most likely because there are a large amount of robots that i have exported to .txt files due to thier size and repeated use... Typed a lot again... geez.

I think that I will make one of those 'all encompassing' journal threads, because, with my unstable working path, i never know what game i will be working on next... When I do, I will just continue with this there.
