Also is there a way to speed up the cursor in MZX 2.81f? Its slowness is killing me. Maybe an option to change cursor speed?

Also I did update, its only minor though so I won't mention anything.

Almost a month since last update, sorry guys.

Anyway I've finished several more enemies to Drop 4. 62 different types now, counting bosses. Also started the first level (Finally! No more remakes!)

You mean the arrow key cursor? Hold alt while pressing a direction to move ten spaces at a time.

No, I mean the overall cursor speed. This doesn't seem to be an issue anymore though; since the cursor speed is fine again all the sudden.

So I can actually use the overlay without getting in the way, I'm trying to make the status screen vlayer right now in Drop 4.

This will be my first time attempting to actually try this feature though so I could use some pointers.

Kids these days. They have no respect.

Anyway, that screenshot is of the first level. The level is split into two parts, a swamp like area like the one you see there and a sky bramble area like that of DKC2, which isn't shown since it looks ugly right now. The ground is randomly generated ala Flantasia however there's a 1 minute wait time every time that level starts. I haven't been able to fix this even with all the loop stopping and all so you'll just have to endure the wait time.

The enemy count has reached to 57 different types, who knows how many more I'll make. 3 of these are palette swaps though used for a special event in each level.

Okay, in all seriousness now. This looks like a pretty good game, that screenshot doesn't look too impressive, but still good. The background needs a bit more detail, and I want to see what the enemies look like. Something seems to be happening to the corners of that tree (f2, f3, mirror, flip, I presume).

And yes asie, it is awesome. :(

Yeah I couldn't be bothered fixing the tree. I can't really think of any extra detail the background could use in all honesty. Though uh... the grass in the water animate! =P

The purple thing near the tree is an enemy. Not the best looking one but it spins round and round. The screenshot I made of the 'Baddiepedia' has some of the enemy graphics.

I'll give descriptions of all the enemies in detail since I have time to kill.

Quote

Hot Drop - Looks like a red droplet. The most basic of basic, it moves back and forth.
Glob - When you get near it, the thing rushes forward at a high speed in hopes of hitting you. These things can fall into pits.
Powboomian - It chases you. Its immune to being jumped on so just shoot it.
Volcano - Shoots three explosive fireballs. Pretty nasty so attack from a distance.
Flame Fury - It occasionally shoots bullets at you.
Electric Fury - It occasionally fires lasers at you.
Ice Fury - It occasionally fires snowballs at you.
Mystic Fury - It does all of above.
Jet Fury - Flame Fury that is able to fly.
Springed Demon - Jumps around try to run into you.
Blood Sucker - Flies around shooting lasers.
Penguin - Runs back forth. When you touching it won't hurt you however it'll roll up into a ball and fly in the air then come back down and explode. I have no idea what I was thinking when I made these back in Drop 2.
K-9 - Runs around shooting bullets.
Tonguer - Attacks by dropping its long tongue on you.
Squiddy Squid - Flying squid that chases you
Burning Sphere - Its attached to platforms and flies around them.
Cannon Burst - Slowly moves back forth shooting cannonballs. Only explosions can kill it.
Stompa Whompa - Tries to squash you when you're near it. If it hits the ground it can create two bullets left and right.
Para-boomian - Flying Powboomian that can drop bombs.
TV Set - Moves back and forth. Attack it and it'll break allowing you to kick the leftover into other enemies like Koopa shells in Mario games.
Sugar Glob - Moves back and forth flinging damaging sugar in the air
Drizzle - Jumps up and down creating a wave of bullets
ExploDog - Moves back and forth. Explodes when shot.
Pyro - Fireballs that fly out of lava. Unlike those Lava Bubbles in Mario games though it creates to two rolling fireballs when it comes out.
Saint - Flies around creating rings that shoot bullets
Angel-Boomian - Shoots a wide shot at you.
Smuggler - If its not in a bomb it'll jump around. When its in a bomb it'll explode nearby. If you shoot it or the bomb explodes it'll jump around again and find a new bomb to use. It can only be killed when its not in a bomb.
Swift - Super fast enemy that rushes back and forth.
Red Penguin - Faster version of a Penguin. Alas the joke is lost though since RP never comes around nowadays.
Witch-Boomian - Shoots homing shots which can be destroyed and bouncing skulls
Skull - Created by the above enemy.
Mirror-Boomian - It mimics what you do. Not an enemy per se, just more of an element for puzzles.
Spike Sphere - Pops into 4 bullets when you get close to it.
Angelic Sniper - They chase you and shoot you. Sometimes they stop moving to perform a dangerous all direction attack. They're pretty nasty.
Snappa Plant - In Drop 2 this was a normal enemy. Here, its a common mini boss. It drops rolling things that explode. Later it gets some other nasty attacks.
Holy Oracle - It just shoots bullets. However it can warp them and make them do other things.
Mimic - Pretends to be a random item. They change what they look like every now and then. Get close and it'll explode.
Powboomian Sniper - Cannot be killed. Just avoid being near it's crosshair.
Doppler - Shoots bullets. Is immune to being jumped on since it has a spike on its head. It can switch its own gravity whenever it wants. Originally they would create soundwaves (Hence why they're called Dopplers) but the idea was ditched.
Shard - One of the game's harder enemies. It can shoot icicles that fall from the sky or shoot a wave of them forward.
Liquid Ghost - Flies around shooting bullets. It's often hidden in the ground at first.
Powboomian Droplet - Not much different from a Hot Drop except it explodes into bullets when shot.
Bloodsucker King - In Drop 2 all it did was shoot bullets and a laser. Now it can use its hands to perform various nasty attacks. It can also fire a massive laser which instantly kills you if you're careless. Its one of the first bosses.
Boompow - Another boss. At first you're on a rising platform with two robots attacking you. When reach the thing it can perform various attacks, such as shooting lasers or smash you with two robotic claws.
Omega Powboomian - These things were mini-bosses back in Drop 3. now they're normal enemies. They act exactly the same, they jump around, try and rush into you, shoot bullets. They also take the same number if hits too. Since they take a long time to kill, you're better off ignoring them.
Styx - Grim reaper things that can make swords appear in front of you. Another tough enemy.
Ember - Bounces around the room.
Energy Penguin - When you're nearby it rolls up and chases you. Its invincible while doing this. It makes the MZX energizer song play when you're near it =)
Piney - 1st boss. It throws bombs at you.
Plasma Drop - You fight this guy three times. He can create lasers or create special bullets which stay on the floor or walls for a certain period and explode later.
Plasma Finale - Final boss of the Drop 2 remake. Its can shoot you with its machine gun, fire missiles that explode, lasers that cover the whole arena or squash you with a giant drill.
Demon - It can create springs and run away from you. Occasionally makes  lasers the explode.
!! - These things split into two when shot. They fire a rapid barrage of bullets when you're aligned with them.
Spinner - They move back and forth and they move very quickly when you're aligned with them, like in Mega Man games. Like in the games, they can only be stunned. Unlike in the games, there's no secret way to kill them.
Flying Snappa - Flies around shooting poisonous blobs which spread when they hit the ground.
Golden Drop - A golden drop, rare enemy that does special things when you kill it. Some of them can only be killed by explosions.
El Dorada - Golden Cannon Burst. Like them, they can only be killed by explosions. Some of them are immune to everything. How would you kill them then?
Springed Meiser - Like all other gold enemies its rare. Like them it can sometimes only be killed by explosions.

Take note that Plasma Drop and Piney are counted twice.

Just to confirm I'm still working on them here's a quick summary on progress.

Drop 4
- First level is 65% complete
- Couple of bug fixes
- Still trying to fix up the random ASCII placer

A Ridiculous Game 2
- No new updates putting priority on the other two for now.

Land of Monsters 2
- All enemy glitches have been taken care of
- Working on inventory on shops
- Finish the desert base and water cavern areas
- Working on the Volcano area now.

Of all the projects LoM2 is the closest to completion. It'll probably be around the same length as the first game actually.

Damn, I'm working on nothing but sequels I'm going to have to think of something new.

Since my computer is unavailble no updates will be made. Though before it had to go I was able to finish a few parts in RG2. Namely the brand new scenario before fighting the Cockroach Man.

Try turning off NumLock/CapsLock, that's worked in other places in mzx where it acts laggy and inresponsive.

Well my computer is only there for upgrades but my father's computer is being worked on first and viruses that create an infinite cycle of viruses is not cool.

Eh I think the tree is fine. The corners just need work. I was never a graphics genius and a simple like CHEZZY's is the best I can do really >_>

Anyway, Supermarket area in RG2 has been started. Might make this area a bit longer since it ended up shorter than I originally planned.
