Just talk to certain people at certain points in the game. There's only about 10 them and completing them gives you coins which are needed to buy things.

Not much of side quests though since they're kinda big.

Procrastination has got me again though I did some bug fixes and also finished one side quest. Only 11 more to go.

After working on RG2 endlessly I decided to take a break and work on that remake I was talking about.

So far I've completed up to Blizzos. But as a for what's going to be in.

- Stronger bosses
- Underworld area, exclusive to the remake
- Coins are removed. You use score to buy stuff
- Kids, there's also a levelling up system
- Excellent level design
- Robotic enemies as opposed to built-ins

Cast of A Ridiculous Game 2

Adrian


The main character. He is in no way associated to asiekierka. You take control of him as he goes on an adventure to stop Drakon from using the Orb of All Power. As you can see his appearance is quite different from the first game and in the original version of RG2. Personally I like this one a lot better.

Drakon


The main villain. A dark sorcerer who plans on destroying the world and gaining the ultimate power. In the original RG2 his appearance took a drastic change due to the limited character size however now he's back to his original sorcerer appearance.

Goshi


Author of the game and narrator. He is your sidekick and helps you out through a majority of the game. In combat his functions are quite limited. So much, that his special ability is just narrating. He adopts the appearance he has taken from the original RG2 rather than the one from the first game.

Dr. James Freddy


A humanoid cat scientist who is bent on world destruction. He joins Drakon's alliance in hopes to achieve this goal. He is however in fact, Ruby's servant and often obeys all her orders however since they're both after the same thing, it really makes no difference.

King Yolca


The King of Monsters. He is in fact the main villain from my old game, Land of Monsters. He aims to become MZX's biggest pimp. In order to achieve this, he and Blizzos join Drakon's forces.

Dr. Bad


The main villain of my brother's game, Insane World. He has only one robotic eye due to some unknown events. He has a heated rivalry with Dr. Freddy.

Azure


An Oracle who helps Adrian on his quest. She is notorious for putting missile launchers on the walls of her house. Many wonder why she does this, but dare not to ask her why. Her predictions are top notch and she will help Adrian whenever he is stuck in a certain point in the game.

Areas of RG2

Stupidville


Like in RG1 and the original version of RG2 this is the main hub of the game. There's a few new places now but otherwise its quite similar to the one seen in RG1. Careful not to fall in the bottomless pit on the west side of the town.

Desert Town


A town in the middle of the desert. This place was another hub in RG1 with not many things to do. In RG2 there's much more things to do, including the door of many endgame commands, a mockery on chocobo racing and a shop with a... unique variety in items.

Freddy Labs


Dr. Freddy's large laboratory complex. This replaces the Supermarket area from the original game. Everything from that area is in only with a sizeable number of extras, including a slider puzzle and a familiar fruit thief.

The Cleft


A much larger area than it was in RG1. This place is the final area in the game featuring a variety of different styles of gameplay.

Suggestion: on the picture of the floating isles, I think that would look a lot better if you made the grass green with darker green dots instead of black with green dots...

I inverted the colors when I did it and thats when it came out bad. Adding more dots won't make much difference.
