Sounds like a good story.

If I told you why, it'd spoil the plot, silly!!!!!!!

OK I've changed the plot of Estrange entirely because I can't ever work on anything serious. Here's a screenshot:

I couldn't finish the last incarnation of emF 3 because I planned it out too much beforehand. I need to be able to make things up as I go along, which is exactly what I'm going to do this time!! emF: Afterthought is gay and dead *bang*

emF 3's going pretty great, let me tell you! The plot is completely changed from that of the original emF 3's, and it's extremely epic. Expect screenshots maybe???

I've solidified the plot, but this time all I've planned out for emF 3 are the starting and ending points and I must say the plot is especially epic.

I, uh, haven't actually done anything since the last update other than that but I will soon! Probably almost certainly!

this is an exclusive screenshot of the BAND! 7 alpha, currently in production. obviously, it plays similarly to band! 4, but the mechanics have changed a bit this time around.

the most noticeable difference is the addition of gems! if you'll see the status bar, you can collect gems now, too. there are two gems in each level, and they're usually an extra challenge to collect and even just to find!

there are other minor changes, like no fall damage, walljumping from the start, and now your bullets travel along their flight path rather than immediately strike their target. the differences will become more drastic as the game goes on, though; expect some interesting new weapons and maybe even a double jump or something! i might add an element system. clearly it's not very far into production yet.

EDIT: i'd like to thank kom in advance because he's totally not going to get mad at me for stealing his particle engine! no siree!

Okay, having finished the second level I have a good idea of how this game's going to turn out. Looking back, it's like 100000000000000x better than BAND! 4. It really does merit jumping ahead two iterations

The game plays similarly, but the enemies have better AI, the stages are designed better, the graphics are better, the particle system is more useful and efficient (and doesn't slow the game to a goddamn crawl), the audio is better, et cetera, et cetera.

This time around, you can have two different weapons at once: A "normal" weapon and a "special" weapon. You fire your normal weapon with X, and it starts out as a pistol. You can later upgrade it to a machine gun and other things, as well. You can fire your normal weapon as fast as you can hit the button. Its shots are weak, though.

Later on, you can buy special weapons. Special weapons do a variety of things, and you fire them with C. However, they take time to recharge after firing. They ping when they're done.

The game now also has a score system! Coins are worth one point, weak enemies are worth ten, gems are worth 200, et cetera. You can also convert your score into coins (10 points -> 1 coin). This doesn't affect your total score, which will still be displayed at the end of the game.

There's a bunch of other stuff I've already implemented that I haven't mentioned here, too.

I think I'm going to release a demo as soon as I finish the first boss!

The FPS it runs on will still depend on the computer you're using I guess...

Also, hey, you're using 2.81f

Ahh... I refrain my statement, then. It looks like Green Hill Zone but with water.
