Welcome to the forums...um, can I just call you Daniel? Your screen name is a little hard to remember.

I wish you best of luck.

(Also: a Dirty Harry action-RPG? Sounds like a winner already!)

I guess I missed this thread.

My name's Keranu and I am a Turbo Grafx 16/PC Engine nerd.

I was looking for this thread also.

I'm usually also known as Angelus-Mortis elsewhere, although this username was taken from one of the characters in one of my flash movies, The Tesseract (which you can find on Newgrounds, if you're so inclined.)

I've been playing Megazeux games ever since I was little, which would probably be about 9 years ago or so, but never managed to finish any decent games or be a part of this community.

I recently found all this Megazeux stuff again, and a Mac version of it, so now I'll probably be paying more attention to it again. I'd be interested in making a game that's similar to the Famicom Tantei Club games and Phoenix Wright, but I have no idea how many people would want to play such a game.

Phoenix Wright is fairly popular here. You won't go wrong making a clone of the games =)

Welcome! Don't worry about being a little crazy. Everyone here is a little crazy. (Well, except the serious people...)

Hi everyone!
Im sort of a newbie, and then again not.
Ive never been part of a community, but ive played with zzt and mzx for years on my own.
About time i get more serious about it!
I love that mzx2.82b release ive just downloaded - so much better than the 269 i used to use!
Im sincerely happy that you guys keep this thing alive. MZX on DS and PSP? Holy moly thats cool!
Nice to see im not too late for the party :p

Thank you very much!
I'll be looking forward to upload something when i manage to make something worthy.
And it will be from scratch, cause my old mzx stuff is pathetic.

Good Day Digitalmzx
I had forgotten that I registered awhile back apparently I am DertyF...anyway
I was a mzxer Quite a long time ago, and recently I have been tinkering around, and playing with some of the new features. I like what I see, and have started designing a game that I think could turn out quite well. I am only designing the engines right now so I wont go into any detail.
I was never involved in the community that much back in the day, but it seems like a solid group of people that I could learn a few things from, and even help out where i can. I really want to complete a game this time around. Now that I'm a little older and more patient i see that as a possibility. Unfortunatly I cook for a living, and goto school, so my time is limited, but I come around every so often, maybe i can fit a DOZ in.

anyways, Hello, and you can expect something out of me in the future whether it be a few nice screenshots, or a full fledge MZX Epic...maybe

I'm crazyal02. But you already knew that, right? At age 9, I'm easily the youngest here.
My games suck, not because I'm bad at programming, but because I'm bad at plot!
I'm going to make another possibly-futile attempt to make a good game.

P.S.: I'm really gonna try this time.

You don't need a good plot to make a good game.

Well hello. Welcome to the community!
- Your Jumpy Neighborhood Admin

<@Tixus> Anyway, I set the year to 1988 for some reason.
<@Tixus> And set the microwave to run for a minute and 28 seconds.
<@Tixus> But it failed to send me back in time, and I was disappointed.
<Insidious> Tixus accidentally microwaved the 80s
<Insidious> that is my takeaway from this

Hey folks! I'm new to this board, but a veteran of MZX. I started playing ZZT in the second grade, and have been creating things in MZX ever since. I have the rare(I imagine) privilege of creating MZX games and engines and so fourth in the same room as my brother, ThDPro. We've co-created several things, but never released a complete collaborative creation. I thought I'd show my face because he and I will working together on the DOZ. I look foreward to being a part of the DMZ community!! I've always enjoyed playing your creations and its time I gave something back.
The universe unfolds as it should.
