That and I'm not a fan of making games with MZX member cameoes. Sure asie appeared in RG2 but that was an exception and his personality is easy to mimic >_>

For me, MegaZeuX seems easier to work with than Game Maker. It's not as flexible, but it sure is easier...

Called Zed by many of the characters. Zed is a detective who is trying to track down a mysterious man wearing a visor. In order to track him down he'll need to find out the secrets of the city.
Francis Ferdinand
A computer genius and your sidekick. He gives advice to Zed during his adventure.
Constable Wrolt Wriggly
A noble man who hates people for making fun of his name. He gives orders to Zed.

What appears to be the leader of a terrorist group known as Guardian. He is the man Zed is tracking down. He is always wears a visor over his eyes.
Nightshade
A vampire and member of Guardian. He is known for sucking the blood from those unfortunate to face him. He is weak to light.
Tsukikage
A kunoichi and a member of Guardian. She only works during the night and her movement is difficult to comprehend.
Magician
A man who controls the supernatural and a member of Guardian. He specializes in using traditional magician tricks as a form of weaponry. Killer doves, rabid rabbits, chainsaw boxes of death... you name it.

RG3 is looking like a pig sty at the moment. Battle system is a mess and I still haven't done much in terms of the first chapter. It will be complete eventually. Anyway, at the moment I'm reworking the dialog engine.
As for MZX City, I have yet to make a board for it but I will soon! At the moment I'm planning out ideas on what will happen in the game.

I will work on them, but I'm just finding it hard to find the motivation to do so. Since EO2 is the BEST GAME EVER GUYS.

RG3 is scrapped, there really doesn't need to be a third game. Plus I felt the 2nd game is pretty much fine as it is. There's no need for a third. It doesn't seem like anyone is playing it anyway so there's no point making a third game for a series not many people are trying out.
City of MZX is also scrapped but I think I'll keep the characters for another project I'm working on.
The Land of Monsters remake is still coming though, I decided to start over since the remake itself actually has lower quality than my other games. You can ignore the "SUCKER" message I wrote a few pages back now =P
Also two new games: Arcadia and Murasaki the Assassin.
Arcadia is actually a ZZT game so this will be the only time I'll mention about it. Anyway its a ZZT game set out in space and it involves some demons and some perfect paradise. Thought I'd give ZZT another try considering how well Citrus Yoshi went back in the day. Unlike CY though, this game is more of an Adventure game as opposed to an Action one though I still plan to put some action parts in so the game won't get boring.
Murasaki the Assassin is also a Adventure game where you play as the purple haired ninja named Murasaki and go do a bunch missions. Pretty much most of the characters I made from City of MZX will come here. The game is mostly inventory based but like Arcadia, I do plan a bunch of Action scenes. So far, all I've done on this one is plan out the story, characters and some of the missions. Now I need to actually make the game and not leave it as a bunch of theory stuff.

Well everyone else is doing it >_>

Its still on theory. Thinking up ideas is more fun than actually working on them =/

Anyway since I've run out of games to distract me it looks like I will have to MZX now >_>
I'm only working on two projects at the moment these are Drop and Land of Monsters Remakes.
The Drop game is simply a remake of all three games plus what I had plan for its 4th. There's 4 playable characters these are Drop, Slimey, Drip and the hidden character. Drop jumps average but has faster attack charge time. Slimey jumps the highest but has slow attack charge time. Drip jumps low and can't attack very fast but he has a grappling hook which allows him to pull himself towards anything it attaches to. The hidden character also jumps low and attacks slow but is capable of warping 10 panels forward.
Drop and Slimey can also obtain spellbooks which grant them additional abilities. The wind spell allows them to dash forward, the ice spell makes their shots freeze enemies so that they can use them as platforms.
As for the Land of Monsters remake it'll probably just be a graphics revamp since the game is okay anyway. I might try and add some extra things as well.
As for progress Drop is currently in engine programming stages. I have the 1st level design up and done but I need those engines done.
Land of Monsters has only got the engine board but everything is set and ready to go. Assuming my motivation good this might actually get done =O

Anyway! So this new project is still that Land of Monsters remake (Why not make something new and fresh Goshi? I have no idea). It's going to be quite different from the original. Like my old DoZ it's an attempt to mix elements of an RPG action. Anyway here's a summary of all the characters and some extra junk.
The Playable Characters!
Player
The nameless player character is the exciting hero of the game. He specializes in close range combat. He has the highest amount of health of the 4 heroes. The only other additional ability he gets aside from smashing enemies with swords, axes or spears, is the ability to drop bombs. These explode after a while but have very high attack power. Of course, since they use default MZX explosions, expect them to hurt you too.
Aeryl the Magician
Coming from one of my DoZ's games. Aeryl is naturally a caster. Her attacks are naturally the most damaging in the game, however she has a very small amount of health. She's a master of three elemental spells. Her fireball spell is pretty much a basic projectile that explodes upon hitting something. Her ice spell shoots four snowflakes around her. Upon hitting an enemy it freezes them in place and does a small amount of damage. Finally her lightning spell is a powerful close range attack.
Captain Bob
A notorious pirate who everyone is likely to be sick of. Captain Bob is a ranged attacker. His health is the 2nd highest in the game however his attack power is mediocre. He is able to use either Guns which have high attack power but poor range, or Bows which have low attack power but a wide range. Bob is also capable of using Cutlasses. Though their damage is mediocre and are likely to break. Finally he has the SALSA rush ability which makes him invincible for a short time but cuts his health in half.
Rob
The resident healer. Rob is only capable of healing and is tied with Aeryl in health. That's pretty much it really.
The Villains
Burnis
The Fire Lord. He's a demon who can conjure various fire magic. He has a habit of tricking people into picking up explosive keys.
Blizzos
The Ice Lord. He mysterious creature who controls ice magic. He is Yolca's most trusted minion.
Sora
The Sky Lord. A ninja who is skilled at various ninja arts. He is fairly clumsy though and is terrible at espionage. One of the new characters in the remake.
Sandon
The
Voltea
The Thunder Lord. She's magician a magician with a large arsenal of lightning magic. One of the new characters in the remake.
Aqualous
The Water Lord. He's pretty much a squid with an attitude problem. Despite his overly laid back and slightly aggressive nature he is in fact, the strongest of Yolca's minions.
Lord Yolca
The king of monsters and the game's primary antagonist. He specialty? Spamming MZX brand missiles and then blowing them up to cause chain reactions.

I like finished the Vlayer status bars... among other things. Making engines is time consuming =(

Rob x Hydra (Reverse Poison)

Also yeah two new lords. There's now 8 of them. (Also just like Megaman!)
And if you think I being overambitious with this many weapons, well you're too late! I already programmed them all!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I haven't made the first level yet though (In all seriousness, I will in a few minutes)! But at least I'm making progress! Like all Goshi works, expect this to come out in several years.
Oh yeah vlayer bars had to go. They clogged up far too much of the screen... even if making them was backbreaking work.

For the forest I would think that it'd be hard to see it but yeah, I suppose so.
And yeah, the gameplay is pretty much like that of an old styled MZX game.
