Just managed to trade my way up to a couple new games, so I'm playing Final Fantasy IV DS and Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway. Both games come quite recommended.

That is one awesome game. I remember playing it when I was younger, and I really want to play it again. Wish I could find the CDs...

Same here. Probably the best English version mainly because the difficulty in the Japanese games is mostly retained plus the translation is far more accurate. Voices are surprisingly good as well, probably on level with XII, however Cid's voice is....

Wario Land: Shake It!! = awesome so far. It's pretty easy though (unless you are trying for the optional "achievements" each level has) but so far, so good. Very similar to Yossy's Island.

The PSP version of Yggdra Union. I'm up to Gulcasa who as those who played the GBA version know is insanely hard to defeat due to having Scythes (Which beat Swords, Axes and Spears) and the most overpowered move in any RPG called Genocide (Sacrifices all allies in battle and adds their attack stat to his, also destroys your gauge preventing you from using skills).

He's a lot more tolerable though since you get a new character who can also use scythes and a card that lowers the enemy's rage gauge. However I still got a game over anyway =(

I am playing a fun game. It's called "how much longer until Why-Fi makes another MZXer/ZZTer go insane with his antics" It's pretty fun, i'm holding a shotgun, trying not to snap and shoot the bugger.

Final Fantasy IV DS is still getting some play time, but I'm exercising the old-school dungeon crawl by playing Orcs & Elves, too. Not bad for $15.

ZXC + Arrow Keys are pretty comfy for me and they're the usual default controls for most doujin games anyway so I have no issue.

Changing the controls are pretty messy though because it shows numbers instead of letters when selecting a key. It works the same way though just select it and press the key you want to use.

OK, this is a quote from a long time ago but setting the controls in EOSD still doesn't work. Am I supposed to press the numbers on my keyboard? Can't I use WASD or shift+\+z?

No you press the keys you want. If you put in numbers you'll only make it you have to press numbers to do everything.

Way too much stuff to play this month! I've already picked up Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, Kirby Super Star Ultra, Far Cry 2, Fable 2, Saint's Row 2, and Little Big Planet - with Fallout 3 forthcoming. And whatever the hell else I see there that I think is worth picking up (which is way too much).

Well, I'll try it out.

Playing this and Far Cry 2. Both are very fun games, though Dead Space isn't very scary yet (chapter 6 I believe).

Sorry to spoil this for you, but the game isn't scary at all.

Sudden monsters + Fast paced music + fast enemies = not scary.

it's sad really since this game had alot of potential.

Yeah. The game is gruesome, but not scary. The monsters are disgusting (and that's great) but they don't scare you. The only scare you get out of the game is "ah, shit, out of ammo".

Still, if you see it as more of an Action game it's a wonderful title and I really do reccomend it. I've had a lot of fun with it.
