Using a vertical panel to save vertical screen-space. Also, .bashrc changes prompt colour based on user logged in.

Lol, it looks nice.

I just remembered why i changed my computer language to japanese. I guess it was because of a japanese game or so with 'corrupted' texts (displaying simbols which made completely no sense, instead of japanese). I thought it was because my PC didn't support those, so i changed my PC language hoping that would fix it.
Even after re-downloading it it didn't solve the problem... Oh well, at least i can learn some characters doing this. :pirate:

you just have to change the language for non-Unicode programs to be Japanese, not set your OS to be in Japanese

or just run applocale, whichever

Enjoy.

"a folder" has a bunch of stuff in it because my last desktop was a huge quotation from Hans Urs von Balthasar. (otherwise doomRL, four or five versions of dwarf fortress, some space-shooters, lego pics, and random MP3s of Chrono Trigger music and Catholic Answers would be littering the desktop)

The current background is a view from the University of Portland's half-residence-hall half-townhouse thingy where I lived in a faith community. I like the picture for the way lights got screwy and awesome, and for the nostalgia. Though I guess it's only so nostalgic 'cause it was last year.

Not sure what the image is from, but I thought it looked nice. Nothing interesting in the dock links so I didn't show them

My other desktop needs its desktop folder cleaned off and a new background image, but what's more likely is that its files will be shipped off to that computer and it will replace my "server", and my iMac will be dual-booted with Windows Something and run my games
