i'm playing fallout 3 expansion opperation anchorage and the pitt. I love the chinese stealth suit, and shocksword. It can cut through a super mutant master with a sneak attack, without expelling two clips of ammo with a chinese assault riffle. Also love the silenced assault scope riffle.

Odin Sphere is beating the CRAP out of FFXII, which I played only once. Odin Sphere is amazing. The graphics are great, of course, but so is the story. Repetitive enemies and stages are so far the only real minus. The alchemy system is totally drawing out the latent Aspergers' syndrome abilities that I don't even have.

Didn't really like Odin Sphere... thought it looked absolutely gorgeous and I bought the game just for that... but the actual gameplay felt really sluggish, like there was a delay between your button presses and your attacks, and most of the game was exploring repetitive-looking worlds fighting the same enemies over and over. There's also a ton of recycled content in it  I hear Muramasa is much better, thankfully.

Yeah Odin's Sphere's game play was pretty bad. However everything else was gorgeous, recycling aside >_>

Apparently its a button mash fest. To make matters worse the team behind the awful Lux-Pain translation is localizing it, not Atlus =(

Princess Crown kicks the shit out of Odin Sphere.

I'm playing Final Fantasy IX and X. I want to get Valkyrie Profile, but it's more expensive than FFVII with the black label.

Persona 2: Innocent Sin. I'm going on something of an SMT binge; I've also been struggling with Devil Survivor on DS, Persona 3 FES and Persona 4, and also kind of considering grabbing the translated SNES game (assuming I can get it to work in any emulator).

This game is not Japan Only. This is a good visual novel so far, particularly because it has art by Noiji Itou, who is mai waifu.

this is guy, guy is playing a VN about a dude who likes to eat a lot. in fact, he accepted the position at this prestigious school because it had an all-you-can-eat food court
i haven't seen you posting in that summer fitness thread, maybe you should consider...

Actually I still haven't finished Flyable Heart. Have to get back to it some time - I've heard fantastic things about some of the routes so it'll probably pick up.

EDIT: you do realise that 'Noizi Ito' is actually Proper Official Romanisation of her name, Right? It's not just some dumb thing some kids decided to use. It's the same reason we call Halko Momoi.. er, Halko Momoi etc.

Heh heh heh yeah

I haven't finished any route yet, I'm not even sure if I'm ON a route yet, despite an accumulated two billion years of playing time. It definitely gets a bit slow.

I like it, though. It has some interesting character dynamics.

EDIT: Lancer I will never accept passport Hepburn, NEVER

Final Fantasy 4: The After Years
GOTY!!!!!

*checks Wikipedia*

Okay. It is simply NOT. ANY. FAIR. how many cool things Wii owners are getting that could easily be ported to DS but aren't (MM9, this.) *cough*luckybastards*cough*

Anyway, having picked it up on the cheap at a garage sale, I'm giving FFVII another chance. Current impression: while I was probably a little too harsh on it in the past, it's still flawed and wildly overrated. That said, the soundtrack is great, and while I still don't particularily like Cloud, he's more just standoffish than the annoying emo jerk he is in the spinoffs.

What am I playing? ...I can't really believe it, but I'm playing Final Fantasy II again. The NES version. I don't really know why, I just want to beat the evil little sunuvabitch once and for all, after it defeated me the first time.
