Just wondering about this as I'm tempted to buy an iPad and haven't seen anything in the forums about it. Having MZX compatability is a major selling point for a gadget to me.
So has anyone tried a port or anything planned?

afaik getting something on the app store requires a Mac and a $99 developing license. SDL is available but it seems a bit on the experimental side, and doing anything native requires diving into ObjC. It's basically the sort of thing people tend not to want to bother with if they're not making money off of it.

Not to mention, Apple has a history of rejecting apps that have the capability to run arbitrary code (which is why the C64 emulator got rejected at least once, from what I recall).
