I'm getting a little worried by how little work I've done on this game in the past few months. The game is about 75% done but my motivation to program has been low.. naturally it starts kicking in the next few months for me, reaching its height around mid-November. Chalk it up to biorhythm, I guess.

Anyway, this is a desperate move. I always thought writing a journal is a game-killer... lotta incomplete games in the pages of this forum. Still, I gotta try everything including making a journal for my game.

For anyone who doesn't know, Bloodlands is an action game taking place in a hellish underground labyrinth, swarming with monsters. You may have to keep track of and dodge over a hundred bullets for the span of an entire battle.

It's kinda like my previous games, but with way more of everything. I'm pushing the absolute limit of what I can do by hand in Megazeux with this one.. I predict the final code length after the game is finished will exceed 50,000 lines, and it is some of the tightest code I've ever written.

I'll post a few screenshots if I'm still interested in this journal thing in a few hours.

I encourage you to finish this. You've come too far to just quit now!

The preview you sent me a while back was great... highly interested in seeing what you've added/changed around to it. And still holding out for a Massive Attack 2

Work on Bloodlands has been resumed. I did a substantial portion of level 14 (which looks beautiful, by the way) in the past 2 days. Told you I'd pick up steam around this time of year.

There's just something about that autumn weather that makes you want to Zeux.
