Well, after looking through the code in the SwordEngine I'm starting to learn more about Robotic

I really enjoy the sword mechanic and I know I can come up with a fun game using that. I really like to have the machine gun AND the sword, so that's what I'll be looking into. Using F4 or F6 to switch between the sword and the weapon would be cool. I think Star Quest 2 should use something like this, and that will probably be the next Megazeux game I make. However for that project I would need at least 1 more game mechanic (a caterpillar party with some sort of order switch ability).
Anyway, here are (I think) my final plans for Mutant Warzone. In some sense, it is what it is. Current plans for Beta 4.0
-Talking NPCs (I'm going to use signs as people). I may be a Megazeux noob, but I'm no noob to writing. Hopefully an interesting and humorous mystery story will give everyone some incentive to play. NPCs with interesting information can provide an incentive to enter a building, not fire-bomb the crap out everything, etc. Also, it would require the player to enter the giant shopping mall, and finish the dungeons.
-Game Over screen. It will be awesome.
-Bigger City. Maybe it's just not enough to explore right now.
-New Dungeon: Science Facility (that makes 4). Boss fight a giant mutant in the lab. More of the story should be making sense at this point. Something about a scientist wizard making the mutants.
-New Dungeon: Strange House. The boards will be a giant mansion. The player (I'll just go ahead and say it) will be chasing the scientist wizard at this point. Less rooms just packed with zombies, more like 1 strong guy with 8 regular zombies) Boss will be a giant robot shooting seekers and whatnot. Boss Fight will be on its own 80x25 screen.
-Final Dungeon: New area of the city, must have a super-epic boss.
Changes to other areas:
-NPCs in Sewer and Hospital.
-Hell will get some keys spread around, which unlock a door to some NPCs and a boss fight.
Dungeons can be completed in any order, except Hell will be first, and there will be 2 keys at the end of each. 1 White, which can unlock another dungeon, and another color which will unlock 1/5 door to the final dungeon.
-Music, of course
-Different mutant beetle character, I still don't like it.
-Lo and High bombs should be different colors
All that should take a few days (which I know I won't have time for in the next 1.5 weeks). The infrastructure of this game can't support much more than what it is, and I'm okay with that. A fresh Megazeux project is a better use of Robotic, imo. Although I will probably use it in the boss fights, but I have an idea for a boss without robotic:
non-moving dragons (or any shooting thing with HP) with a solid-color "sprite." You could use different colors to build an actual sprite. The monster is dead when you kill every "cell". Something like a giant yellow devil from Mega Man. I'll probably use both versions: a boss built like this with a weak point (the rest just "solid"). So basically you could be fighting big 8-Bit characters pretty easily. The other made entirely out of different-colored shooting cells.
EDIT: An NPC at the end could tell the player to screenshot their ending score and I could manually keep track of everyone's scores in an online leader board....maybe. Obviously it would be honor system, although I would hopefully know if someone cheated
SECOND EDIT: If the soundtrack is finished sooner, 4.0 Might just have NPCs and the first half of the story will be have some resolution, but still set things up for the 3 other levels.
