Still, good point. I'll see when I can get to do something on it. Think I made it too complex for me, hence these setbacks.
I think some of the rest of us would try to fight you for that title, actually. Remember that there's a full (well, okay, maybe not full) forum of people here willing to help if there's something you're stuck with.
And RyanThunder, I'll be following this journal until the game gets released. I'm glad to hear it's coming along!

He was talking to you. Get to work on RT!

<Malwyn> Yes, yes. Don't worry I'd rather masturbate with broken glass than ask you for help again. :(

So I got my copy of DNF today, played about an hour into it, and am so far satisfied. It was just as I expected it to be. I'm enjoying it!
But, the critics are panning it! Destructoid calls it "...absolute garbage..."! GameSpot calls it "...embarrassingly bad..."! And so on and so forth (see for yourself here).
I couldn't help but think about my game from this sequence of events this evening. It hasn't taken 14-15 years to make, but 5 years is still a long time. I kind of feel like RT has become dMZX's very own DNF with all of its radical changes in development over the years, but who am I to judge?
There's no doubt in my mind that I'm going to be very proud of my project, but I guess what I'm trying to say is that I hope it doesn't go through the same thing as DNF.
In other news, I found some time to clean up a boss routine lately. Runs a lot better!

As for RT, I doubt anyone will care about how long it took to make as long as the end result kicks ass.

No. SFMZX is dMZX's very own DNF.

Well, everyone, RT has been out for over a month, and I gotta say I am generally pleased with the critique it has received! Most of you have been really enjoying it, and for some others it just wasn't your thing, but that's OK! I know it's a tough game, but I tried my hardest to balance the difficulty curve while still trying to make it challenging and rewarding. I also wanted to share with all of you the rebooted storyline of the first season/series of my childhood comics I have treasured for many years.
It goes without saying that I've learned a lot from this experience, and these are lessons that I will probably carry with me for a very long time.
Thank you so much everyone! If you have any thing more to share about your playing experience, I'd like to see it! Just be reasonable with your critique, though.
P.S. Has anyone found the SECRET STASH?

Help
