okay, working camera is implemented for the gameplay area!!! also added some more dialog to various sections. things to do: implement gameplay engines, implement puzzle engines, write a climax and ending... thats about it!!!

I just went on a week long tour to BC and a cool thing happened to me. A few people recognized me at a different show later in the week and complimented my drumming from the show at a different venue a few days before. today we (my band) drove 13 hours to get home. Then I made a level up engine! and an ending outline. I just need some help with a cool weapon engine, and then i think this game is almost release quality.

My band Brain Fever recording bass and drums four our split 7" and then i got really high and added a cool effect i've been thinking about on board 4, bug testing on board 3, and finally adding the best good ending (yes there are multiple endings... many of them unpleasant) has been finished. ive gotta do the credits, and finish the denoument. After that I think i gotta make separate palettes for each area, and add some more sound effects.

gameplay wise the battle segment has areas, and level up system. still needs monsters and some keys or something. the final puzzle has yet to be started.

looking like it's just around the corner!

I was attempting to implement the final battle engine which Lachesis has given me, but mzx kept crashing, and I was on percocet so I just went to bed.

I used the boomerang engine from Encyclopedia MZX. It's successfully implemented!! All that's left is to make some enemies, the final puzzle, and spruce everything up a little bit.

I got maxim on board beta testing, and making some baddies for the final area. as well I started the final puzzle area, and i just gotta add in the puzzles themselves. then i have to beta test a bit and add maxim to the credits. maybe this game will come out this year? or early next year.

The final battle sequence is working!! Player stats, enemies, weapon, and environement all MOSTLY work. The puzzle area is crafted and already has 1 puzzle in it. This game is so close!

Added another puzzle to the last area and finished the credits... just gotta make 1 or 2 more puzzles and master the soundtrakc and this game is DONE!!! Maxim is beta testing for me starting tonight!

Completed the first round of bug fixes, finished the ending. gonna smoke a bong and try to make an awesome calmness rip puzzle to complete the gameplay. then just some slight audio remixing and it will be released

Only got 1 puzzle room left, and I made some battle music in 2 days spread over the week. if i decide not to remix the ending music then the game is pre much done kekeke.

I was going to say that I think you should release the original sketches for malardy, but you quit/crashed. Just think it's good to get bonus material, y'know.

It's done. Maxim just needs to do a final beta test. When I say done I mean all the tracks are mastered, sound effects are in, puzzles are all in plaec and working, every board is looking cool... probably gonna release within the next 3 days.
