Help
Sometimes I will have unread posts listed for a while, then I'll want to refresh the page to see if there are any additional new posts. Doing so will clear the entire list, I guess marking all of the previous listings as read. Other IPBoard forums I visit don't have this problem. If it it's a configuration option please change it. Or if it's a per-user configuration option please let me know where it is because I haven't found anything along those lines.

control panel->settings->general settings->search settings->view new content method

Thanks Lancer. Not sure how I missed it 
So I changed the setting and got the three page list of posts I've made. That's good. I clicked on page 3 and started reading them. Only when I clicked on page 2 I got a "no new posts" listing and am getting that every time I try to load the unread list again. Dammit all.

Something weird is happening, then. View new posts appears to work fine for me, going between the different pages, viewing topics and refreshing, but I don't use it much myself so it could be something I'm missing. Chalking it up to the dodgy IPB codebase.
