This is a mockup.

Idea: RPG which will be very short. Weapons will be, for the most part, limited in their usability ala Fire Emblem. The game itself will be almost nothing like Fire Emblem. Am going to attempt a very Keep It Simple Stupid dynamic to keep myself from going insane and keep the time of completion within a month or two.

That's about all I'm going to say right now.

in-game this time. i realize there's not much difference. i think this one looks better UI-wise, though enemies haven't really changed much. i have however implemented everything basic to the battle engine except the player's ability to die.

at this point in time i have my general plot structure (and basic script) as well as most of the enemy designs. weapon stats are implemented. accessories not implemented at all.

game will not have leveling though there will be restorative items. it will be a matter (for the most part) of choosing the most appropriate strategy to take on the enemies.

items are at least halfway programmed for battle and fully programmed for out of battle. battle engine isn't quite complete yet, though, as accessories currently have no impact.

First area is pretty much done. I have one last battle feature needed for that area that I should test, everything else should be good.

Area #2 work has been started. Enemy designs are done, so is battle background. Need to program the next type of enemy attack and the area structure in terms of play. And get a fix on what the standard items will be coming out of area #1 if you play well, because that kind of impacts things. Deadline for the rough draft is April 7th, 11:59 PM PST.

Screen of new area. Still under development. Mostly I just have to add content (battles/items) and balance the area at this point.

And program in accessories, which aren't needed in area 1 because you aren't able to get any yet. But I'll need them in battle and able to equip outside for this area.
