I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but I tried to update MegaZeux RPG Arena. All I accomplished was adding the updated zip as an extra zip instead of replacing the main zip. I thought it'd be easy, but there's no obvious Update button or whatever.

Please, someone tell me exactly how to update my games in the Vault. And delete extra zips too.

It's not actually obvious how to do it, you just have to re-upload with the same name with the updated version... At least I think that's the only way.

Will that also get rid of the extra zip?

Assuming you mean the old zip, someone generally clears that out. By someone I think I mean Lachesis or Terryn.

Well, I uploaded the update with the exact same name. And all it seems to have done is create a duplicate game that's pending approval.

I have no idea if I'm doing it right.

Yep, that's how you do it.

<Malwyn> Yes, yes. Don't worry I'd rather masturbate with broken glass than ask you for help again. :(

I think I understand how it works now.

God, this update is a goddamn mess. v1.2 has no summary and screenshots (I thought they'd be shared), I seem to have lost the ability to upload screenshots, v1.0 still has that extra zip... it's all just so unclean and imperfect and godhajkshdkjash.

I wish I could completely delete the whole thing and start over. Is that really not possible? Is hiding them really the only way?

I have a question... if we update a game in the vault and there are reviews/comments related BUGS in the original versions of the game, that are now fixed, does this mean their comments remain attached to the game still?

Judging from the reviews, I'd say they get carried over. But they're appended with "may be outdated" at the beginning.
