There's some fairly reasonable economic arguments for leaving the EU but the vote here is mostly about refugees.

There were also some good, arguably better economic reasons to stay. I guess we'll see how that pans out. Short-term effect on the market is not looking pretty.

The culture wars/identity politics wars are just about over, the next battle is between nationalism vs. globalism, the Brexit and rise of Trump are just a start of a nationalist resurgence. Brexit to me seems like the whole 'cutting off your nose to spite your face' expression.

Kind of underwhelmed, I expected more - this was nothing compared to last August or this January. I guess all the speculation panic was over-hyped.

Not an economist, but I wouldn't necessarily say that the panic was unfounded, at least for some sections. Pound vs USD is still in the 1.30 range (~ -0.10 when you factor out the pre-brexit bubble), and the FTSE 250 is down significantly. Looking at individual stocks that make up the FTSE 100, there is a clear shift in investment strategy, as a number of stocks I've checked (gold, pharma, tobacco) have benefited from the vote, whereas a number of stocks (housing, banking) have fallen off and stabilized at a significant loss.
