Exophase i work at a call center doing verizon tech support and had to explain a cell phone bill to some dorky guy who was afraid and disturbed by bills and it turned out he had bought DraStic so i said "oh, you bought DraStic," and talked about how i know that guy from way back and he's a real cool guy, and it was a good call, i didn't get yelled at for his high bill despite overtly expressing my comfort with invading his privacy. also i gave him a $30 credit for no reason. none of this is especially relevant to anything! hi Lynn
That's a great story. DraStic wasn't really to blame for his high bill was it? I mean it's $6

He can buy it another five times now with that credit.
Fortunately I've only gotten three calls about the emulator in the last three years. But the last one was really awful. Dude saw the receipt in his e-mail and freaked out because he didn't buy it and had no idea what it was. I cancelled the order but he was going on about how I stole from him and hacked his account or whatever, and how if the money didn't show up ASAP he was taking me to court and was going to investigate me and whatever. I'm like, sorry your Google credentials got stolen (maybe pick better passwords) but I didn't do it. Kind of amazed this is the kind of thing people would buy with a stolen account. This was during the peak of a big temporary sales boost we got thanks to Pokemon Go, go figure..
He ended the call saying he was going to go scream at Google now, I'd probably hear from him again (thank god I didn't) and that I'd better be paying taxes on my income!
