Lancer's end goal is to get CJA to finish Mecnar Orihon using his mad CSV skills. (He said, hoping to secure "obscure MZX reference of the week," and then realizing that wasn't an award.)

More on topic though, CJA I love your color schemes. I replayed some of Ordnance recently and am loving your use of ASCII, and while default colors worked pretty well for that game, I'd almost love to see you do an SE with your own palette style.

Here have a textbox with revised font preceding the boss fight I haven't programmed yet, and the awkward effect of the way textboxes are handling pausing ATM.

Did a little Zelda 1 hacking recently, and it inspired me to code a little tile-based world editor in about a day or so.

The first screen shows off a 16x11 grid with 4x2 char tiles

The second screen changes it to a 3x2 char tiles. the graphical issue is just that i didn't change the 4x2 char tiles.

Like I mentioned the other day over Discord, those player graphics look just amazing!

Love the rest of the graphs as well, although somehow the combination of earth, metal crates/blocks and the floor tiles looks slightly confusing. Anyway, keep up the good work! Any chance we'll see that developed into a full-length game sometime soon? :(

The contrast is mostly intentional: it's meant to resemble an abandoned world with remnant mechanical structures, in a simple NES-ish sort of way. Though I can see why it doesn't really convey that, and some more palette work is probably in order. :(

The plan is to finish this game relatively soon, but who knows. HELLQUEST 2 was supposed to take less than a month and it's still sitting around without a finished story...

Card Knights Major Version 2. Coming shortly. I hope to successfully re-create the main engine, and better, over the next month or two. If I do this right it'll be the play-by-shared folder MZX sensation of the year. In case anyone's wondering:

Red is attack
Blue is defense-healing
Green is healing-charging
Purple is tactical/response

Also yes I see now one's a repeat. Card #40 should be something else, albeit similarly structured.
