Im doing menus on a seperate board, and noticed a particular pickle. I can't leave the menus! The way I have it set up is:
. "@Menus"
. "This is a segment of the code for my menus robot"
:loop
if delpressed "leave"
wait 1
goto "loop"
:leave
restore player position from 9
wait 1
goto "loop"

I have a block of code in my global robot which saves the player position to slot 9 and teleports the player to the setup board at the correct coordinates (I made sure that he's not teleporting over my menus robot). However, as it SEEMS to work okay, I can press DELETE and have the game not do anything at all! (it's supposed to put the player back where he was when F2 was pressed) How can I fix this, or does anybody have an alternate method of saving and restoring the player's position when entering/exiting the setup menu?

sounds like your global robot is saving over your position 9
when your in you 'menus' then your RETURNING to You menus bored... thus doing nothing!

I hope that solves it..(i had the same problem with my old games, a few times)

That would be my best guess. I don't know what else would cause it. You could set up an elaborate system with board IDs that are given at the entrace of each board and used to determine where to send the player back to, but the restore player position thing should work fine.

Actually, you're all wrong.  The reason you can't "restore player position 9" is because there IS no position nine.  There are only eight slots.  So use another one, and see if it works.
