At this rate, I could have it finished in 2 months - though I very much doubt I'll keep at this rate.

Yep - I very much doubt it, I think I stopped the day I said that.

I can never keep at something for more than a couple of hours, things such as contests I'm not great at. Hopefully I'll be able to DoZ.
As long as the topics aren't absoloute crap, I think I'll do fine.

As for other news, I'm thinking about redesigning my web page.... Hopefully it will be at least a little better than the last one.
I'll post the URL of the page when I actually start to build it and get a decent HTML editor.

Jeez, DoZ results taking quite some time (either that, or people are hiding it from me =p), oh well.

Anyway, I did some work on Werlp's boss fight thing, basically just the terrain/arena is done.

If the downloads don't work, it means I haven't uploaded them yet.

I have found that in the games of the SR series I have missed out implementing a lot of plot/story. Much of this is text that wasn't in my games is on my site (click on Games Info). I'm still currently working on From SR2-SR3, but SR-SR2 is completed.
...yep, just for anyone who was interested in my games.

I've started on a new amazing game with ultra graphix!!1111 ...and I bet by now you can tell that this is a joke game....or is it??
Btw, I won't be posting updates on this masterpiece because I want it to try and remain secret until you play it.

In other news, I've decided that as soon as I finish SR3, I think I'll be moving back to complete Undead II. =)

The Godawful game is in New Game Announcements, I suggest not downloading because of how much of a bad joke game it is. =)

I started work on a random dungeon RPG type-thing (working on the name).
Basically in this game you choose a race and profession then kill creatures in a dungeon located near town. The game will most likely turn out to be a lot like diablo (lots of items, non-turn based, game centering around the randomly generating dungeon)... also, I've noticed that a lot of RPGs in MZX are never finished and so I'd like to see how hard this'll be...

As for how much I've done on it currently:
Random Dungeon Generation: 80%
Inventory and Status screen: 10%
Stats: 10%
Items: 5%
Weapon Engines: 0%
Race's and professions: 0%
Monsters: 0%
Spells: 0%

Umm... I'll get it done eventually. As for my other games, I might put them on hold until I complete this.

Until I can think up a better name for this game, it shall be titled Hero Quest (btw, I have no idea if that's a real name of a game, but anyhow =p)

Hero Quest
Random Dungeon Generation: 85%
Race's and classes: 80%
Stats (Str, Int, and such): 60%
Game Engines: 10%
Inventory and Status screen: 10%
Items: 5%
Monsters: 0%
Spells: 0%

Stones & Roks III

I'm currently working on the enemies AI, and have decided to use a simple weakness and resistance thing to some of the player's attacks. For example, a Rock Monster (extinc in SR2, and was rare in SR1 [though didn't make an appearance]) would be more resistant to your sword attacks, but the damage to him would be increased if Ice Strike was cast on him (don't ask why Ice is effective against rock :p).

There are 10 quite different enemies in this game consisting of the Barakias, CrackedWalls, RockMonsters, Lathatoners, Spikenorgs, BlueChickens, FireGoblins, IntelligentFireballs, RoboFires and InfectedIceys. If you want to find out more about these monsters and this game, check my website when I've finished the page for Stones & Roks III.

There are 7 bosses, though I've only programmed 2 of the 7 - I'll try to not have every boss pretty much the same except stronger (a big mistake that occurs in quite a few of my games).

As for the Player's attacks, a simple sword engine will be implemented, as well as the Ice Spells you get in SR2. Not too sure about any others, if you have a suggestion for an ability or simple weapon for the player, post!

Any other questions and comments are welcomed...

Stones & Roks III

Alrighty, looks like my last post was stupid enough to make no-one reply for the day =p.

Anyway, I got some SAMs for weapon noises and stuffs. For those who are wondering about me getting music for the game - a while ago I posted that I had downloaded a lot of great MODs (greatness based off of good reviews), 10MB of them, so that's no problem. As for what I'm doing now - still working on the creature AI, and not much else done on boards or graphics.

Stones & Roks III

Finished off every creature's stats and stuff: Weakness, Resistance, Strength, Explosion size, Special attack, Basic attacks, Cycle, Name and Char, now all I gotta do is make them into actual robots...

You're going to be waiting a long while... cause I have a lot to do... (I'd say I probably have about 8% of the game finished right now)

HEL0 (Wow, this must be the longest time I haven't replied to this journal...)

I'm sure possibly a few of you were wondering where I had gone for the past month (few=none).. I had bought a few new games since I had started getting bored with MegaZeux, Warcraft III and Age of Mythology caught my interest (yep, the crappiest games around =p).
Anyway, for some reason they wouldn't work on my 98, but only XP so I had XP installed on this comp but then it wouldn't run MZX, until I got this partitioning thing done on my hard-drive which would allow two operating systems, and now I've finally crawled back to MZX.

HEL0 again. =)

Edit: As for my games, they're all pretty dead but I might start work on them again sometime.

I started work on remaking Undead again...
http://www.angelfire..._guy/Undead.zip, if you want to download the original version). I liked the game, but it was filled with bugs, bad graphics, spelling mistakes and not enough detail. This remake will hopefully cure all those diseased things, and may add more. =)

First of all, it was grass. Second, I just somehow wanted to use something that glowed in the game when I was making it way back then (about 2 years ago).

But yeah, I kind of agree with you. It was pretty stupid, and that is why a remake is in progress. :)

I have put all the boards in order, and deleted all the old items and enemies, to have them replaced with new and shiny ones.

Too bad school starts tomorrow. =((( I obviously won't have as much time to work on this darn thing...
