If you're strapped for cash, have you considered doing cartoons for a local paper or something? Or designing for a tattoo artist? Or maybe you want a job not related to your field of study.
In any case your shading technique is pretty neat, although your shape-drawing is asymmetrical... but if you had some graphing tools you could probably fix that (although it'd be cheating). Then again, you did say you drew it a year ago.

Anyway- yeah, I've been considering all sorts of jobs to do with tattoo design and cartooning and the such, and if I drop out of university at the end of this year, I'll definitely enjoy doing both. But ultimately... I want my job at an adult store...
