Some screens of the full version of SmallGame, which may or may not come out (it's making very slow progress D:):

The new title screen. The title screen now occurs in two parts: the first is a narration of sorts by the mysterious game master, which is basically the bulk of the plot for the game, and this, the title proper, is the second.

This was, in version 1.0 (now regarded as the demo), the entire game. Now it's just the first room in a series of tests the game master has laid out for you. Note the user interface - one of my main goals with this game is to provide a consistent UI. In version 1.1, the "Last Examined" box also shows which room the last examined object was in, and at what time it was examined.

The QuizMaster screen. QuizMaster is one of two planned quiz rounds in this game (the second being optional; the player can choose to do an inventory puzzle instead), and it fires three questions at you, each on a particular subject (and chosen from a bank of 3 questions per subject). If you get a question wrong, you must redo the time-based action that initiates the quiz, but if you answer all 3 correctly, you can pass onto the next phase of the game.

The second quiz bot, QuizLord, is similar, but will have 6 questions with 4 possible answers each (as opposed to 3), and will be timed.

And finally, this is the room where you have to decide whether to take QuizLord or the inventory puzzle. I just included this here as an example of the type of architecture and graphics you'll find in the game.

Edit: Yes, I know it says "Komment Games production" there. That's because that's what it's being planned as.

...Really? Is Kom working on this with you or something? Does he even know about it? Maybe I'm just a little too wary.

Goshi: Haven't used 2.81g.

Guy: No, Kom isn't working on it, but he does know about it. Not sure how to explain this one without saying anything I'm not supposed to say, but it is my intention to release the game under that label.

gah, this could do with being name-changed to NiMa's Projects, Inc.

Anyway, I've dropped SmallGame and picked up...

groan...

PF1v2.

Yes, PF1v2. Not PF2.

Like all my projects this is gonna die, but I've currently got a policy of updating it every time I finish a song for it, which, well... yeah.

Ah, 'tis so good to be back

Oh, Nihilistmatt, it doesn't really matter, Komment Games, Nima's projects, whatever. I dont remember saying that there was anything not to say. Oh well. Small Game does look pretty good, however.

Update: Not sure whether to do PF disc 1 v2 as a MZX or a SquareMZX game.

The plot has been changed a little, and the opening cutscenes have been completely replaced.

Hopefully there will be more to do in the final product... if it ever gets released.
