Okies, this is supposed to be my pledge game, and therefore I'm planning to finish it before December 4th (and yeah, I'm still working on Dragonbreed as well).

The game is about an alien bounty hunter, whose job is to slay the stupid humans. Yay. What a great plot.

Make some levels please. :D

(MZX 2.70, by the way)

I like it a lot. A couple bugs in your movement engine though, the collision detection seems to be off. There's a problem where I can sometimes go one character into a solid object, but I can't figure out when it happens specifically. It's difficult to reproduce. Also, on the desert board, you'll note that you can jump INTO the bottom characters of the platforms. Finally, if you hold down while moving into an area where you would usually fall, you just hover in the air.

Otherwise, quite pretty!

It's nice and NESy, reminds me of Battletoads. The recoil is funny, because his arm is all spasmic. It needs a few frames for jumping though, think metroid like. Get up into the air, and have the legs in a springing type position. Then at the peak of the jump, switch which leg is closer to the ground, to make it look like it's preparing for a landing. You might even add a frame with the guy knealing on the ground, as to absorb shock from the fall.

Also, I recommend adding a bit of a pause at the height of the jump to make it a bit more realistic.

I'm impressed, man. I never thought large characters would come to be even this interactive when I first started megazeux. Pretty amazing

Sorry to revive a thread long gone and dead.

Any chance of someone still having this on their computer? Bramble? Revvy?

Huh, I can take a look through my mzx collection, but I don't remember a thing about this game.

Woah, hi Nytar...didn't see that one coming. How are you, what have you been up to? :p Still working on that roguelike?

I'd be more than happy if you could send the Slayer game to me for example by e-mail at markus.ahola@gmail.com.

I just sent the game, Galladin.

I'm still working on the roguelike, but it's gone through so many revisions that it's probably not the same anymore.

Thanks Nytar, got it! :p

Hopefully we'll see that roguelike very soon...it looked just great.

I know your post is like 5 years old, just wanted to know if you were still working on Dragonbreed?
