Never could make it very far in Wicked Phenomenon unfortunately... the original Exile is a favorite of mine, especially the music. It's oldskool house beats crossed with Arabian-styled music, how could I not love it?
My favorite Super CD-ROM2 game is Tengai Makyo: Manjimaru. What an awesome classic styled RPG. Wish we'd see a fan translation, sadly Working Designs was originally planning on bringing this game to the US but then the Duo died in the marketplace.

You're not missing much. The plot's horrendous, the gameplay's nothing special, and (along with Popful Mail) Wicked Phenomenon was probably one of the very few Working Designs translations to actually benefit from them completely replacing and dating much of the non-essential dialogue (ughhhh). The point where people get stuck (the "GOD CRULLY" reaper boss) is probably the worst boss in the game, though.
