I had my graduation just last Thursday. I'm an adult now! (I guess.) Who else is now either an adult or a supposed member of the workforce?

I graduated from Covenant College a number of weeks ago. And then I had a graduation party and got hundreds of dollars from family and friends. My advice is this: GRADUATE.

Providing everything goes to plan I should be the proud owner of a shiny new postgraduate degree in a couple of months.

If I was following my original plan, I'd be graduating now too... but I'm not so I won't be adorned with a shiny bachelors' degree for a number of years yet. (But I'll have an only marginally less shiny associates' next year )

I am now officially unemployed with a useless degree in biomedical engineering from Saint Louis University.

I'm graduating later this summer <3
Of course, then I have the fun of getting my teacher certification ahead of me... joy...

I got my Bachelors (finally) in computer science, and I'll be getting my masters at the end of next year thanks to the one year masters program over at Sheffield.

I graduated last year with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, which is now gathering dust (literally).

Whoa awesome. I've always sort of wanted to be a teacher, just because I think I'd be good at it.

How many hoops and/or tribulations do you have to go through to get an education in educating?
Need a dispenser here.

Well, I didn't really bother doing anything in college for it. I was going to take an Intro to Education course, but it was going to be way too expensive so I decided against it.
From what my teacher friends have told me, in my county all I have to do is take a few tests; I take a general test (which is what I'm worried about, since it's got math on it and I suck at math), and then a subject-specific test. I'm going to get certified for English and Japanese, although actually I don't think there's a test in place for Japanese so I don't know how they're going to do that.
Maybe they'll just hand over the certification, who knows.
I'm pretty nervous about it, I hope it goes well. I also hope I don't get assigned to some really crappy school...

oh yeah, best of luck to all of you graduates. I finally have a job that I absolutely love, but it took a few tries, some luck, and a lot lot lot of persistence. And since I, too, never used my undergrad degree, I'm several years behind and accrued a lot of loan debt. A word of warning to those on the fence about college: a good trade school or focused degree (no matter what paper you come out with) can be much better than a four-year blur at a university. And be sure to follow up with any internships that come your way.

But I'm old and out of touch, I imagine.
