Hey Folks,

I'm gonna be honest. I haven't drawn ASCII art in six years. With the DoZ coming up, I decided to practice drawing ASCII art since I think I might want to have some ASCII art in Team Wombat Eye Productions's submission and I realized I am real rusty.

So I am going to keep a running journal of my practice ASCII art, and I would appreciate any comments, constructive criticism, and scorn you may have to offer.

Thanks folks!

P. S. This is a picture of some kind of vaguely-looking tribal drawing based on a tribe I made up. It was a little too big for the screen. After this, I will try to draw a cat.

It's intriguing for a scribble. Do you plan on editing the palette? This one is here and there muddy (the pink fill and the boxes), here and there clashing nastily (four regular green squares on pink). I think also you'd be better off getting some properly sloped diagonals going instead of that 1v1h that abruptly squares off at the top and bottom. And just centering your graphic in the shot would improve it at first glance a lot more than you might think.

Thanks for the feedback! I will definitely center it and get rid of those green boxes. I will see what I can do about the squaring, hope I can fix it. Thanks again.

Risu2112: Perhaps this is a little better. (Converted it to MZX and modified it)

Note you will have to save the file and zoom in to see the proper coloring, because the coloring requires a fullscreen effect to be properly seen.
