This is more for potential members reading this in guest mode. We had someone come in on IRC from Russia saying that he couldn't register because apparently all of russia was banned from registering. Upon further investigation, we found that yahoo and hotmail were also banned from registering, with gmail being the only allowed free service.

As of today, *@*.ru *@*yahoo* and *@*hotmail* emails can now register at DMZX again. If this causes an influx in spam, we'll deal with it, but not using such heavyhanded measures.

Any similarly heavyhanded email filters will also be removed as we find them.

For the most part, when we switched to stronger security questions the spammer registration dropped to nothing, so I'm not too worried.
