If you liked MegaZeux 2.84b you'll probably like MegaZeux 2.84c.
If you never used MegaZeux 2.84b you'll might like MegaZeux 2.84c.
If you hated MZXak 1 you'll probably won't like MegaZeux 2.84c.
Is MegaZeux 2.84c better? I think so. ?Have questions?
First check out the changelog
You'll see what I've added.
So when is MegaZeux 2.84c going to be released?
If I said less than a month would you actually believe me?
Well how about now than? Probably not right?
Well I'll guess I'll have to surprise you.
Release Info
Hey all, new version of MegaZeux here! And hopefully without any
crashes this time around! Haha yeah right.
The most notable thing this release (besides fixed crash bugs,
as usual) is the new counter debugger! Give it a try and tell us
what you think!
Counter binary search has been replaced with a hash table in
versions of MegaZeux for most platforms. This has resulted in
slightly faster counter lookups, and MUCH faster creation of
counters, since MegaZeux doesn't have to keep the list ordered.
The hash table is turned off for NDS builds for now due to tight
memory constraints.
Otherwise, most of the new features are editor enhancements and
modifications. Notable mentions are reordering the board list
with 'M' and a custom undo history size.

The Ubuntu version requirement was upped to 12.04 LTS in this release. If you have an older version of Ubuntu or a non-Ubuntu distribution, you can still re-build the deb file from sources. Read the instructions in debian/README.

<@Tixus> Anyway, I set the year to 1988 for some reason.
<@Tixus> And set the microwave to run for a minute and 28 seconds.
<@Tixus> But it failed to send me back in time, and I was disappointed.
<Insidious> Tixus accidentally microwaved the 80s
<Insidious> that is my takeaway from this

As far as the debug mode goes, it looks pretty sweet so far. I would like to suggest that the old debug mode (ALT+Y in the editor, F6 ingame) be renamed to something else or differentiated somehow from the new debug mode. The old debug mode seems to consist mostly of board statistics, so perhaps it could be called "Board Stats" or something like that.

Well I'm surprised that I was missed after I had uploaded my still known as terrible rip-off games like CR2-6 which was built on Fred the Freak Gaiden, the Delphi-X Trilogy which was based on a crummy DoZ game and a couple of Gemini's unfinished games (Station Evacuation 1 & 2), Aquatic Marine which was based on one of Bramble's unfinished games (The Messenger), and my only original effort of a game, CR2-0, which is badly designed what with the crummy side-scroller engine (NOT the MZX Encyclopedia one) and the overusage of Cyber Peacock's stage music in the final levels.
The reason I was gone for so long is that WIRELESS CAN REALLY SUCK. The previously used un-secured wireless connections disappeared at Midwest Manor and I was without a connection to sites like THIS for quite a while. But then I moved to a house in Del City in Feburary and soon got a wireless connection of my own to use whenever.
Yeah...stuff happens sometimes huh?
