it's a skeleton. skeletons are scary because usually they are inside people and you don't see them. you normally only see them when the person on the outside has rotted away. as a result there is an association between skeletons and death. this is why you are terrified of the skeleton.

i agree wholehartedly with lancer the reason it scares other folks such as you is of the rushing time and impending we face in 70 years. i myself have never seen my skeleton and scares me too because it's so differentfrom all those things i've known from this year to date
